The No Call List only applies if you don't have previous business.  If you've got a certificate (which is expiring) then that gives them reason.  If you don't care if your secure website continues to function, then by all means ignore them.

Public record miner telephone solicitor. All they do is call random numbers hoping to talk your company's IT. If they were really on the ball, they'd know how to contact your IT directly. They're no different than any other phone solicitor.

Still making junk calls about SSL certificates.

Fortunately, there are plenty of better and cheaper alternatives.

Thanks for nothing. Mining public records so they can annoy people and harass them for money. If anybody wanted to "renew" with you crooks we will call YOU.

Now go back to the boiler room and hope the next victim you call isn't smart enough to blow a loud whistle in your scamming ears.

You people are idiots. IT ISN'T A SCAM. You have to have an SSL certificate that is going to expire in the next 90 days for them to call you.  They want you to switch to them to be your SSL provider.  Hey if you don't want to buy dont at least they are calling with a valid point.  The SSL certificate is what encrypts the information people put in on your site.  To have one expire isn't good.  You should say Thanks for letting me know Comodo!

I've gotten 4 or 5 calls from this number in the last 3 hours. The first time, no voicemail. The rest of the times I answered and nobody on the line. Tried calling back to take my number off their list. No answer.

COMODO calls all the time regarding renewal of licensing; my IT dept will not take their calls.  It might be a legit company but when they are kindly asked to remove a company from the calling list they are supposed to comply with the request!!! I believe it's a Federal law.

Two more calls today.  1 this morning and one this afternoon.

Gee people, when you don't leave a message it must not be important.  I think I'll add you to my robo-dialer.  Look for an incredible amount of e-mail SPAM coming to your domain shortly.

Two can play at this game.

Get educated yourself!  If we didn't request to be contacted, then it is SPAM.  By calling people on the National DNC registry, you are violating federal law.

Apparently the actively scan for domains with recently expired tickets. So that's how I got on their list. At least that's what I would guess..

I got a call from this number and the only thing I heard was big band music ... I listened for a couple of minutes since the music was actually rather good, but no human ever spoke.  Apparently their autodialer didn't know someone had answered.

Comodo - knew it wasn't a legit thing when Nuno (the rep) asked for the CFO by name (probably got that information from website) and not the IT Dept. and then he sounded suprised CFO didn't work with our website security. We don't use them and have told them a few times in the past "don't call us we will call you".

yep they will not stop.  its Comodo - some arm of Verisign - trying to sell web security.   Pray you never get on their call list.  I blocked 3-4 of their numbers and now this one.    Keep trying though!  It costs me nothing to forward your calls to nowhere.

Their business is sort of a scam - website security testing.  Most hosters provide all the necessary security you will ever need.

Call came in on November 28, 2011. I see from the call logs that they have called frequently over the last two months. Never left a message - so it is a robo-call which will go to a sales person once connected. Upon research I found it is  Comodo trying to sell me an SSL certificate for my website.

An update, our receptionist just told me that the sales person used a lot of scare and pressure to try and get to me.  Telling our Rec that our network will be in bad shape, etc. if we don't get their service.

Our ssl doesn't expire for 2 months.  ug, I hate pressure sales.

I just received a contact from them as well.

Unprofessional sales spiel, the person said 'Um' and 'you know' approx 25 times in a 2 minute conversation.  Gave me incorrect information regarding our SSL.  Was slightly pushy, but took no for an answer, so am done with it.
