Received a call from this number, answered and they said Hello this is the VOIP News, I hung up on them.  Have not got a callback.  

If you call the number back, they answer with a fake recording about temporary network trouble made to sound like the phone company's.

Received the call and ignored it - went to voice mail. The message left was totally dead air for almost 2 minutes.

It is Nation Wide Credit. A collection agency.

This number called and left a message on my cellphone. It was an Indian man with a very heavy accent talking about a "partnership"  and, perhaps, trying to sell me a website, but I couldn't really understand the message because of the accent. So, I'm sure it's some sort of scam.

just called twice today....no one is there

This is really annoying. this number calls up to 5 times a day and there is never anybody there.

They have been calling me asking for the owner of the company- when confronting them as scam artists they become aggressive and hang up....

when i call back i get a number is disconected message or(yes i called numerous times)  or a message in some foreign language....

can someome do something to get back and harass them?

I've received this and I figure it's that voice mail scam - they ring a business then "hack" their way through the system with standard codes - then call through long distance on your business phone line.... Apparently there's been more than just a few scammers doing this... Check your call through logs of your employees, just in case.

Even that they use a fake phone ID, the telephone company can trace back who really called. It’s a matter of time that after filling a formal complain to the police department for harassment, they get charged.

Answered phone..music played about 10s... then BNIGEL came on to ask for the owner...and wanted to offer a lower discount rate on my MC/Visa processing.  I told him I do not take cards, only cash...then he proceeded to ask if I had any other businesses in the area of interest. I said no...he paused then said thank you. 09.09.2008

They just called me AGAIN with in the same day.  This time I told them I was the owner of the company and they replied that they are Nash (never heard of them before).  They claim to be doing a survey regarding the use of our debit/credit card machines.  I just hung up with them as soon as he mentioned that.  I feel that they are nothing more then a frodulent group especially if the phone number is only for them to call out on.  Is there some one who we can report this to?

Whoever this is, Called me @ 7:00AM  What kind of company is this?? I have the time stamp on my phone as proof.

I just received a call from this number as well, same thing happened as last comment.  some one asked for the owner but since the owner wasn't in he wouldn't leave his name or call back information.  When I called the number back I got a recording mentioning that the number was no longer in service.  I have programed them in to my phones as "do not pick up" for their name so I know that when they try again I won't waste my time talking to them.

What's the use that they called and hang up??  It's free for them to make long distance??  This month I've been receiving lots of these repeatly scam calls, including 204-927-2271, 403-313-3718, 416-555-7777, etc.  I even save these #'s in my cellphone as the scam calls, just pressing busy tone for them when they call in.  And, maybe these calls aim for business line users coz my friends never get these calls to their cells, but I do get these calls at least twice a day from different #'s.

These guys are very annoying to say the least! They call me just about every day like clock work and it seems nothing is being done about it! I've filed a complaint with the " National Do Not Call Registry" folks.

These guys are still calling 10 calls in last week. I have told them to take me off there list and they still call. Any help to get them to stop. I am in Canada.

I have received the same call they want to lend me money, no interest, yeh right NOTHING IS FREE!  I just check into this site and found there is a lot of us being bothered by this group, so I tried to call them back, their line is disconnected? scamers they just should be shot!!

Called at 11:43 this morning. After a slight delay, an East Indian accented man asked for the owner of the company. I tried to take a msg (as its my job to screen phonecalls) and he hung up on me. I tried to call back and remove this number from the calling process, but was told the number no longer exists. I am a Canadian phone number as well.

Just got a call from this number.  When I answered there was no one there.

I got a call at 10:00am - no one said a thing...

I got the 4th call from this number just a few minutes ago at 8:22 am.  The same person tried to 'give' us the same phone.  It is SPRINT WIRELESS. I am calling the complaint number because we have asked twice to be put on thier do not call list

I got a call from this number as well while I was at work. I heard some music at first, but then someone actually answered and asked to speak to the owner of the business (I work at a chinese restaurant). I knew immediately that it must've been a telemarketer since only telemarketers ask for the "owner of the business" rather than the name of the owner. So I asked if I could take a message, and of course the guy that was on the phone said "no." But yes, I agree, very annoying. I think all telemarketers should be euthanized.

I just did a reverse look up on the phone number and found out it was a Comcast Customer.  Called them and filed a formal complaint.  Not that I have a ton of power but they googled it as well and saw it on there and will be looking into this.  Hopefully this stops cause this number kept calling my business with the same stuff

Received a call today (9/4/07) from this number.  When I answered the phone, I heard music and a woman said Thank you and goodbye.  These calls are very irritating.
