Yeah there are independant people living in Western India. They have contacts here who re route thier number through a system set up to make it look like a  U.S. type number. Be careful with them, even if you do owe someone moeny, they have nothing to do with those companies you owe money too. They also check these pages very often, so I would not recommend using your real name. I did once, and they guy called me back and said he just saw my post and that he was passing my number out to all his partners. I had 20 plus numbers calling me a day. I turned the numbers into the FBI and they stopped, I reccomend doing the same. The FBI is really trying to crack down on this stuff. I would say they will keep even more tabs now with the things that keep happening in the world.

This caller with middle eastern accent called asking for my husband.  She said she was from the federal government but she mubbled the name - I asked her to repeat it and she started pushing the phone buttons so I could not understand her.  Next when I kept asking her to tell me who was calling she told me it was none of my f**cking business.  I hung up and tried to reverse the number but it told me it did not exsist.  Caller name came up like a credit card number V420114..........

Three calls today and multiple earlier.  Obviously a fake number because the local part starts with a "1".

They called, I answered, they hung up.  I tried to call back with caller id and it said the number was not in service at this time.  Based on all the other messages I read, sounds like a scam.

was told I was given a 10k grant. said I was picked demographically. didn't call them back. suspect it is a scam. Said they were from the IRS.

These freakin idiots just don't stop. The change phone numbers ALL the time. They have called and a male would say "this is John Smith" in a damn Indian accent -LOL- and saying I'm going to be served with a warrant and I need to call a number he gives.  First of all if you are going to be served you sure as hell won't get a  warning of it. OMG they just don't give up.  All they want is your bank info so they can rob you. Don't even answer any number u don't know. It's totally amazing how these weird, non-existence numbers can show up on I D.   A***oles!!!

MidEast accent man, claiming he was calling from the "Federal Government", that I had been awarded a $10K grant.... Let him talk and explain why me and then asked for the Website I could confirm this.... He stumbled with the "w's" and the "dot....... or.... us... gov".  I have it blocked already in my phone.

This number called me 8 times today. I answered and got a lady on the phone asking for someone. I told her she got the wrong phone number and to "please" stop calling politely but she argued and said "this is the first time im calling" really?! I have phone records to show your unintelligent being that I have answered calls from that particular number! She had an Indian accent. Stop trying to scam people.

government. you must have said al quida or bomb in some conversation or another. they get bored after awhile

Called and left no message. Can't call number back. So lame.

I got phone calls from this number and they hang up! I can't even call back because there is "no such number".

Been getting calls from this number at least three times a day for the last 4 days, minus Sunday. So clueless?

Keeps calling house phone, and saying Good Bye, I have no idea who this is.
