this # called me first a lady w a Indian accent n told me to get a money pack to pay my debt or I wud b arrested at work. then a Indian man called me frm a different # n threatened to hav me arrested n to call my lawyer ...whatever!!!

I received a call from Steven Morgan (with a very obvious accent) advising much of what has already been reported.  What raised my antenna was two things;  one, I asked what verification of payment would receive and was told I would received a confirmation in the mail in a few days, and two, that payment needed to be in the form of a Green Dot Money Pak paper scratch value which I could purchase at Walmart, Radio Shack, or CVS.  Once I purchased the card in the specified amount I was to scratch off the silver covering and call him with the 14 digit number.  No reputable law office or debt collector is going to receive payment in that way and if they did, I still wouldn't send it.  

Another thing, I told him I was at work wouldnt get off until 5 pm.  I'm in California, he's in DC.  That means he would still be in the law office conducting business at 8:30 EST.  I can't wait for him to call back.  I'm going to tell him my attorney is going to take care of it and give him that number!

I have been called by this number over 36 time in the past 4 days. I received twelve of those calls in one day only minutes apart. A male with an accent who knows my social and birthdate. He claims that I need my attorney to return his call stating I owe money to the government. I need to wire in cash to an off the wall account Yet will not tell me any other information. They will not stop calling.

I just recieved a call too from the 202-204-6025 number and got the exact same story. I will be reporting it ASAP!!!

I got a call from them and I told them that my company (government agency) doesn't appreciate calls like theirs and we know that they are a scamming company and to not call back.  They continued to call and I continued to hang up on them.  This went on for 11 phone calls and they hopefully have gotten the hint.  LOSERS.

A guy by the name of Troy Martin (Year Right) called on behalf of Sam Houston Law firm in Washington DC. (doesn't exist) saying that I owed $4300.00 but couldn't tell me when the loan was taken out. I knew it was a scam already which is why I asked all of those questions. They called my job and my cell,  They hung up on me after they got annoyed from all of my questions. I called back and begin to go off stating that they need to stop scamming people. I said you need to get a legit job like the rest of us. I pissed them off so bad, that now it's a busy signal. He made a comment that I need to go to the nearest walmart and he will be standing outside waiting to "rape" me. Foul language for sure, but I told them they called the wrong person because I plan on calling them back every 5 minutes to piss them off. Things like this grinds my gears, but I got a GREAT FEELING that they won't call me back because I'm waiting on them.... Believe me I will piss them off before they piss me off.

this number called me 20 minutes ago telling me i would be arrested within the next day if i couldn't come up with the money by today otherwise in court I would have to pay 5,800 (not including lawyer fees or the $650 in loan i received. They told me they would call my work (thank god I work for my aunt and uncle and can tell them it's a scam) and have a subpeona sent to the address... yadda. yadda yadda.

SOOOO I typed in the telephone number in google search and saw this lovely thread. Next step I took was reported it to non emergency police.

this number called my house asking for my wife i told him that i knew this was a scam and he called my wife a w***e when i told him i was going to call the law he said call them and then called back in about a min and ask me if i called and said he would not quit calling

i received a phone call from this number yesterday with an indian customer service rep. we have been trying to contact you everyday, but no answer, i dont recognize the number i dont pick it up. they called he put the lawyer on the line jason dean from samuelson law firm that i will be convicted of a crime for fraud and not paying back a loan of 500 dollars and invalid check number. Police will pick you up on monday morning, the gave me til friday see if i can get money to them. He said to call us back on friday which will and ask in writing a letter with terms of repayment, if i dont receive such letter they arent getting their money. unfortunately i needed a loan but now turns out this is a scam.

I recieve the same phone call from the 202 arear code saying the same thing and that I was going to jail tomorrow.  How can we stop this

This number has been calling my job. Told me I had a lawsuit filed against me. I had already looked tis up. I asked them what for. They had my social. Said hadn't I gotten an email. I said no one would email me about a true lawsuit. I told them it was scam and I had it pulled up and that I was going to report it. They told me fine report to fbi whoever else you want. They said they will supeona me tomorrow at work. ummmm whatever.

My mother received a call from this number just a few minutes ago.  It was the same type of call she received a few days ago.  

I am an attorney and got on the phone with them.  When I informed them that I was an attorney and I knew it was a fraud, they hung up on me.

I got a call from them today and they said that i would be arrested of i didnt  pay them and that they were sending the cops to my job to arrested me but hang up on me everytime i call back

Called stating that my spouse had a criminal case against him. Sounded like a scam I dismissed them and they hung up. They used the name "LAW OFFICES"

I RECIECE A PHONE CALL FROM THE A 202 AREA CODE SAYING THE SAME THING THIS THING NEEDS TO BE STOP.

just receivced a call from "Alex Smith" from this number. stating that this is a "time sensitive" issue. What Mr. Smith obviously didn't realize is that I also received a call from a "Mr. Copper" today with the same nonsense...Cooper called from a California number. I politely told "Mr. Smith" to stop calling, because I know this is a scam, or else they will be hearing from my attorny.

I just received a phone call from a 202 area code telling me i had federal charges filed againest me on july 15,2012 for federal fraud check writing and accepting money from online loan places and not repaying along with giving a false checking account.  I just called the police and filed a complaint.  when i called the law firm back they once again hung up on me.  THIS IS A SCAM.

I went to the local sheriffs office today and the officer asked me to call the number back. When I did they got on the phone and told the officer the exact same thing that they told me. these people have some big ol balls.

They called me and threatened me and then denied it, and said if I wanted to settle that I need to go to Walmart and get a moneypak scratch off the cover and give them the number and to make sure under no circumstances was I to get one with the Visa or Mastercard logo, and repeated about the Walmart moneypak.

The threatened me at first, and then told me to go to Walmart and get a moneypak, scratch off the coating and giving them the code, and insisted that I did not buy anything with Visa or Mastercard on it. The whole thing sounded kinda creepy

I am freaking out!!!! I got a call earlier and when I called back j was told that they were closed and that they would e calling me tomorrow And that I better answer the phone!

I resived that same kind of call today, first the left a message stating that they were a layers office and that if i dont call them back they were sorry that what was going to happen to me. Needless to say i called them back and  he could barily could speek english and porceeded to tell me that i would be arrested tomrrow morning at my residents and i needed to get an layer  of a payday loan of 8000.00. I hung up from them and thought for a min and called them back and proceeded to threaten me that they HAVE MY SS# and my address, my credit card numbers and banking numbers now note this i have never had a payday loan before. I called my local police department and they insured me that it was a scam that was running and reading all these cases of the samething happening put me at a little more ease. Thank you all for telling you storys you helped me calm down lol p.s. sorry for all my spelling mistakes lol

I'm in Wisconsin and googled this number (and found this site!) while I was receiving a call from this number. So far, it doesn't look like they left a message.

I got the same call today from 202-203-6025 a woman named Jennifer (Yeah right). When I started telling them everything they were going to say they called me a scammer. I told them I fell victim to them once and now I will simply report them to the police, FTC and FBI. Also, if you have an iPhone there is an app called "Black List" simply enter there name and number and block them from calling you.

Another interesting note is that I was researching an online cash advance but only had my name and phone number  in it. For 3 days the same people kept calling me offering a loan and I just said no thank you and hung up. Now for the past 2 days they are calling and threatening me. So I have had my attorney call them and they just hung up in him.

Yes the first time it happened in February to me I was scared to death. I am no longer afraid of them just extremely upset and wish throne thing could be done to stop them. Along with restitution to all of us.

I received a call from this number and the guys name was David Leo and said my husband would be arrested at his work place . It bothered us that they knew are information . They wanted me to run out and get a Green Dot card to pay 856.29 . I called my local police department and filled a report . 202-204-6025
