Same here 416 699 1319,called Sat 9 am ,Wife answered,asked for me,told not here the Sand Rat b*****d proceeded to ask my wifes age,maritial status and how he would like to 'f*** her up the a**!" Needless to say ,I lost it and told the third world vermin Id put a bullet in his head for berating my Wife that way! Iam NOT racist rather a PROUD CANADIAN who is tired of being subjected to this by some MOTHERF@%#&* who is thousands of miles away,and cant wrap my hands around is throat,and drown him in the Ganges!

This number called me friday Jan. 15. 2010

They was talking about sun life insurance and they suppose to come to my home @3.30 pm but they didnt.
i am in doupt of those suspicious people, i think they are targetting muslem people to do bad things .

I have also received call from 202 230 2363 I was not at home. He introduced himself as Anthony, he told that he going to call back.

I received a call from this number about 2 weeks ago, and after I told them I wasn't interested in Sun-life coming to my house, I hung up, then wished I asked them how they got my number as I'm on the national "Do not call list." "Frank," (although I can assure you his given name must not be Frank) called again last night around 7 pm. After I told him I wasn't interested, I remembered to ask him how he got my number. He acted confused so I spelled it out for him: "How did you get the number that you just called?" Frank replied with "You called me." I then got pretty irritated and scared. He told me he was just the "booking agent" and didn't know how he got the number. I actually said I knew he was just the messenger and told him I wasn't intereseted and not to call back.

2 hours later, Frank called back. I said "you just called me," and he said "when?" I told him 2 hours ago and he asked me if I changed my mind. I'm going to email Sunlife. 3 phone calls in 2 weeks, 2 in one night, I consider harassment.

I recieved a call because I use an answering machine telemarketers or scam artists do not leave a messages. I am glad we can use this system and now I the callers from this number are suspicious. I'll use my block caller for this number. Thank you good people for your comments reference this number.

I keep getting calls from (Collect Com Credit)the callers use the names of
 "Damian and at other times, Miss Diammond and they are calling from these No.'s (202 230-2363/904 863-0217/250 260-3907/905 748-6275 These people are not only harassing and threatening,but also very rude, ,uncivalized, nasty. She will not let me talk me have a word edgwise, she just yells her threats and I finally give up and hang up. Oh boy! dose she get made then,Too Bad!

This call has been the worst one I got for a long time, worst I mean in funny. I challeneged the dude on the phone to a few basic questions, he failed everyone with flying colours. Then I asked him there phone number. Although, 202 230 2363 came up on the phone he gave me a 416 number. I Google it to see what is going on. Low and behold the number he gave me is the fax number for Envoronment Canada. So I asked him why he is giving out that number instead of his? Then he hangs up!!!

This number just called me saying it was Jason from Sun Life.

I told him to go away and hung up.

This number just called me and said it was Jason from Sun Life.

I told him to take me off of his list, I am on the Do-Not-Call List and if he called back I would report him so hopefully that is the end of him.

These people are a pain in the behind.  I wish they would go away.

Received a call from a guy stating that he was calling from Sun Life.  Oddly enough, we have several Sun Life product.  The caller knew our name and address and was very aggressive.  He INSISTED that we agree to allowing a representative to visit our home for a "presentation" regarding benefits of various types of insurance.  Red flags galore!!!  When I told him we weren't interested and to remove our name from his list, he became very rude and demanded that we cooperate.  I asked to speak to his supervisor.  He said that in order to pass the call to his supervisor, I would be required to answer several questions.  I advised him that I would not be answering any questions and I demanded to be passed to his supervisor.  He kept insisting that we agree to this presentation.  I then stated that I would be calling the police and he then put the call through to his "supervisor".  The supervisor sounded like he was high on something and I demanded that our name be removed.  What a scam.

OMG This guy just called at 9:00pm from this # said he was from Sunlife Insurance.
I asked did I ask you to call???? He ignored me and kept talking.
I said that I had never spoken to anyone there and he had no reason to call...
I asked him to take me off the calling list he said I cant take you off of -anything.
he then said to my utter shock but I can take your panties off and I can take you bra off!!!!!!
He repeated it again in a sing song voice..... and then said he was from Rogers this time because I asked for his information and to repeat what company he was calling from.
he procceeded to hang up.
I called it back and got a voice message saying the caller was not taking calls at this time

keep getting calls from this number. really annoying and the call is usually timed when we are just about relaxing. didn't leave a message on our machine.

Called us (in Ontario) on September 28/10 evening. We did not answer.
They did not leave us any message

THESE PEOPLE ARE FAKES! they spoke east indian and sounded like a they were a telemarketer. I told the guy to f***  off and i told him that if he called  again i wold call the cops. Boy he didnt call back ever again.

Call the cops, this needs to be stopped, I cant sleep over this phone call :(

I answer the phone and a man with an Indian accent tells me people from Sunlife Insurance will be in my building tomorrow wanting 10 minutes of my time. I say i work a 12 hour shift and the insist i meet with them, i then say sorry im going away, he asked me where I am going, for how long, how old I am etc. I say sorry I am not interested in life insurance, he then says i will call u back in 2 weeeks maybe from my own personal line. I was totaly creeped out and called the cops right after. Lets see what they can do for me.

just got a call from a fellow with a very heavy accent claiming to be calling on behalf of a financial institution (I believe he said Royal Bank) and and TOLD ME he needed 10-15 minutes of my time tomorrow.  I told him I'm not required to givehim any of my time and told him I would not be participating, he wouldn't take no for an answer so I had to repeat myself and then hung up...I was so pissed off that I decided I would contact Royal Bank but before I call them I tried calling the # back that called me, my display came up as "District Columbia" but when I called it said 'voice mail' not set up yet.  Then I put this # into Google and found this....not sure if I should call the police to report or???

This number called me three times in 2 days but I was luckily not here to talk to whoever it is.

I am on the Do-Not-Call List in Canada but that does not seem to make a difference to scam people.

I just wish they would go away.

I received a call on Saturday evening at around 9:00, from a man with a strong East Indian accent.  

The party asked for me directly.   He said, "It was Sunlife calling  and he wants to sell me some insurance:.  I told him that "I have enougth insurance and I am insured with Sunlife".  He mentioned that "he could look over my insurance policy and help me choose a better plan"?  I told him I am not interested.  He kept talking on and on. Plus I could not understand  what he was saying.  Finally he hung up.

Two minutes later he called again, as we have two listings in the Toronto phone book and asked for my son.  My son could not understand him (very heavy accent) and told him so.  The party said "shut-up" to my son, and then hung up!l

Today, so many companies outsource their Canadian clients that it is very tiring.  Most of the time we cannot understand them, after spending hours on the telephone trying to explain our problem(s).  We all pay our bills in Canadian dollars and expect to be served in proper English or French.  

This has nothing to do with Sunlife these scam artists just use their name as it is well know in Canada.

I got this call today at 9:30pm and mywife  took it and told him to call some other time as kids are sleeping but ke kept on talking and asking questions then I took the phone and asked him to not call us again and hung up. This guy called again and start swearing. I hung up the phone and called back but it went on vm which was not initialized. Some kind of scammer.

The 778 code is a Vancouver BC area code, the newer one, and thus is often a cell phone number.  

I got a call from this 202 number as well, the man with an accent telling me that a door to door life insurance salesman from World Financial Group would be in my area on Saturday and he wanted me to set up an appointment.  I told him I was going on a trip, and that I was leaving around 5am.  He responded, "5am?  Maam?  Maam I think you're lying to me.  You're not going on a trip."  I was blown away by what a smart aleck he was.  I said "No, I'm not lying, and you're VERY rude."  Then I hung up.  Whether I was lying or not is immaterial.  His response was unbelievable.

I'm on the do not call list, so I filed a complaint with the CRTC.  Since I have absolutely no business with World Financial.

The 202 area code denotes Washington, DC.  Why would any "insurance company" based in Washington be looking for customers in Canada.  And why would any local (GTA) company be using a DC phone number?  They're frauds.

Was a man that asked for my mom, using her last name which is scary! Said his name was Jason, then said some very disgusting, sexual comments. I was disgusted, and he just hung up right after!

i just go a call and a lady said hello can i speak to your parents please ... i was like their not home would you like to leave a message and then she started to laugh and said i cant tell you , its for your parents and she started to laugh again and i hung up

I got a called and the guy called me beautiful and asked me out.

This number called and when I answered there was a lot of background noise and a person was already mid sentence saying "My name is Dave". I just listened for a few seconds and then another even louder voice, with a very thick accent, started saying "Hello" into the phone. I was so noisy in the background I could barely hear him and with the strong accent I could only follow after multiple attempts to ask where he was calling from and if there was a number I could call him back at, he pretends not to understand me for a bit and then yells to someone else for a "local number" I am given 778-737-7866. The call display reads "Dist. of Columbia".

I called back the number (778) number and a clearly English speaking young man answered and said he works for World Financial. I mentioned that I had googled the number and that it came up as an insurance scam and he quickly said "I don't know who called you but if it's important, they will call back. Goodbye".

I had just receive the exact call stating they were from sunlife and that they are coming to my house and speak to me regarding insurancet..... I laughed and said I have insurance I then  inquired how he received our name and number but the only answer was someone will to be by my place tomorrow. ( i  said a few choice words) then hung up . he then continued to call and swear .. I blocked the call .

I received a call from this number on Sunday and there was a lot of loud talking in the background.  so much noise in fact that the caller could hardly hear me.  They claimed to be from Sun Life and wanted to come over to provide a life insurance quotation.  I told them I was busy but maybe on Tuesday.  The caller and subsequently his supervisor started asking me questions about my age and if I currently had life insurance - I refused to answer. The callers did have my name and complete address, but they could get this information from the phone book / internet pretty easily.  In the meantime, I called Sun Life and they informed me that they do not use outsourced call centers to make sales calls and that if somebody from Sun Life had contacted me, it would have been a local number (I do not live in area code 202).  I called the number back and it went to a voicemail system (unavailable).  I would suggest that this is some sort of a scam and do not let these people in your house under any circumstances.  I've currently blocked the number.
