I received a call from someone named Alesha indicating she was with the US Department of Fraud.

demanded to speak to me they said they were the check Freud department in Washington and demanded me verifying who i am  good thing i checked google they are a scam or a scamming collection agency don't give them any information .remember information scam or debt collector

My great aunt recieved a call from an Alexandria Lucus asking how did i want to plead to check fuad i havent called her  back an now im diffinitely not goin too..She can go scam somebody else plus i was kust gunna let my lawyer handle it..But the number was 202-2390495

got a call today from Alexa Lucas.  You would think she'd use a new name and number by now!

Well, I just recieved a call my Alexa Lucas stating I will be aressted if she does not recieve $4,500.00 in a hour. I looked up the number on googled and I came across the site. In the mean time Ale LucAS CALLED BACK my responce to he that If she called me again I will report her to the Philadelphia Police department. I also decided to play on her phone and now the number is disconnected. Alexa Lucas I recoded our phone call and you are now offically caaught . I have the last laugh.,.................................

I got the same call from the same number....i let it go to vm and she left a message saying the call was my older sister. So when i got up i called my mom and told her about it ...and then i turned around and called my niece who has contact with her...and my niece called me back to let me know to call my older sister so i told her what she had said and she had already talked to the alexa gal about it and just abt an hr or two ago my sister texted me and told me it was all a big gigantic scam ....so if anyone else out there gets this call from 202-239-0495the please take action and lets help the authroties catach her this is totally wrong for what she is doing to other people.

jus had alexa do it to me. i got 2 daughters she said sumtn about a 500 loan i took out an i bounced a check idk how dis lady gets information but she said theres a warrant for my arrest an im facing felony fraud charges. my intuition said its a skam at the end of the phone call an before i almost sent 1100 to her money gram i stoppred an said to my self ima trust my gutt i googled the # an sure s*** i found this blog thank you jesus for outspoken ppl on the web ;) good job guys. she did have me shook,i wont lie.shes a wicked bi*** cuz i have 2 daughters an a house to pay off. kinda blew my mind. smh

That's good news Joyce.  Now,  you should pass along information about your experience with others you know so that they won't be taken in by some stranger on the phone making threats in the future.....thank you for your post.

This same lady called my work, my boyfriend, and my phone saying i was being charged with fraud fro 2010 and i never been in trouble my life I have 2 daughters and she said i owe $2000 and said she'll call their atterny and ask if we can settle for less and then not even 2 min later she gets back on the phone and says they said they can settle for $657 and i was crying upset shaking, she said do you need time to call and see if you can borrow the money, then she said we dont take debit card or credit cards, that i can only pay through westin unoin and money gram, my boss then called me and said they had called her and was giving employees information and so then i didnt call the lady back and my boss wouldnt give it up and she found out it was a scam though looking the number up.. Do NOT do it!!!!

the only thing she said that she was with the fraud investigation department---but no company name!

it is a scam!! they called me at my home at 7:10 am!!! the name on the caller id was 'unknown'. her name was Alexa or Alexis Lucas. i read some where that creditors are not supposed to call before 8:00 am and after 9:00 pm or it would be grounds that i can complaint against them.

This Alexia lady also called my husband, then he called me all paranoid telling me to go on my lunch and pay them $480 through Money Gram or he will go to jail over the weekend and won't be seen by the judge till Monday. Hummm i told him don't you think it should go through District Attorney first so i told him i'm gonna look up this number and sure enough i saw everyone's comment. Thanks for posting all these comments. So i called this Alexia up of course she didn't answer so i left a very nasty message sorry but that's what they deserve.

Received a call saying I was being investigated for fraud with a payday loan with Riggs Bank in Feb 2010.  But I haven't had a account with Riggs since 2004

I got a call she is calling from washington dc 202 area code I called
Information and they said its a call from washington and that phone
Number is a cell phone and she has people info from a debt collectors
Or something and she is probably sitting in some basement calling us
One by one waiting for someone to give them their card # its a scam
So she can go get a car or spend money on tv and order the s*** we really

I received a call from Alexa saying the exact same thing.. She told me this morning if I don't pay her$721 I was being arrested today... I almost fainted.. I'm glad I looked up the number.. I am reporting this to the police

I believe this operation is out of Florida.  There is a 904-239-0495 fax # she gave me.

omg!!! this freaking lady just called me today say the same thing...talking i i had an advance from cash net and that it wasn't a loan and they gonna  send a warrant for my arrest unless i can come up with 1300 in an hour...well i called my aunt and she gave me her lawyers number...he called her on a three way and at first when i was just talking to her she was all sweet and nice,then when he called and started asking her questions she started to get real nasty and loud....he told me to put the number and Google and this is how i found this site....that witch had me scared out my mind...i have never been to jail or gotten in any trouble in my life...thank God it wasn't just me..i wanna call her a** back and curse her out for putting me through that stress..i had to smoke three cigarettes to clam my nerves

I got a call from this lady today.  I called her back, she stated I had one hour to call her back with a payment and if I didn't that I would be arrested today.  I did not call her back and now I got a text message saying that I am being tracked.  Should I be nervous?

I just got a call from her as well. I was at work. She left a message saying I was being investigated for fraud.  I called the number back and left her a message. She called me back and apologized. Said she had misdialed my number by mistake.

Yes don't fall for this, they just tried to get my sister. With the same payday loan scam.
I called her and she got upset at me. So I told her off.

my story is the same . only she called my dads house and now he thinks ive done something wrong.

No it is a scam!

Oh and the worst part is when they say they are calling from Washington so it really sounds legitimate. But they would either come knocking on your door or you would have received a phone call or something in the mail which I received none of the above. It is people like her that take advantage of those who dont know better or dont know how to stand up for themselves and ask many questions.

I received a call from her on my dads home phone saying that they were going to file fraud charges for my business and that I needed to contact her and that is the same name and number. I was freaking out because why would she call my dad on his home phone there is nothing that connects us. There were a lot of things that didnt make sense. So I am glad I came across this and thanks to everyone who actually took the time to post this so others can have peace of mind.

I just got that same call and she almost got me.I called my police dept. To mak sure this can happen I was told that it is a scam cause we would first get papers from court by mail then if is a no show they send a second letter to let us know about a court again and there is no reason why it would be federal unless is over $1000.00.

Nothing to worry about. Its all a scam.

I recvd a vm from a Alexa Lucus about someone I dont know. I called the number back and I left her a vm stating that she had the incorrect number and the person she is looking for no longer own this number and to please not call  again. If she calls it again, I will turn her contact info over to the authorities.
