Just got a message from this number by "DEA agent Christopher Randolph" telling me he needed me to call him back "immediately" regarding the recent closure of an online pharmacy by US Customs officials.  Got all freaked, called a criminal lawyer (who only freaked me out more), then a friend who used to practice law.  Neither of them calmed me down.  Then went on a long walk with a friend and went over worst-case scenarios.  Then came home, googled "Online Pharmacy DEA closure" and stumbled upon something about a scam.  Then I googled this number, and bingo -- millions of hit on good 'ole Chris R.  Dumbass doesn't even know enough to come up with a new name!

I too have received serveral calls. I was too bust to answer and the caller" Mr. Christopher Randolph"
with the DEA, left me several threating messages.
Today I answered, the caller repeated pretty much everyone else has already posted.
If I didnt pay the fine, they would come to my home with a warrent  and assest me.
That I was going to go to prison for a long time.
I told them I believed it was a scam and he put me though to his Sargent.
He too threatned me. when I again said I believed this to be a scam.
The Sargent yelled" Fine I'll show you it not a scam , See you in Court."
Yhen hung up.

This person has used another # as well. He says he's
with the DEA & he'll clear the matter up if you send him money. Only $3000. He says there's a pkg for drugs with your name & address on it & you've broken the law. The guy is stupid, low rent and bad at his scam.

This is the 4th or 5th call like this i have received in the last few weeks. I wish something could be done about them. They are calling me on my cell phone. needless to say, i immediately posted it here.

Prank Call
just received the same call as most above from Jeffrey Sweetin, (DEA has an arrest and search warrant out for me).  I looked up the number here and saw all of the posts and so called him back and told him I was forwarding his voice message to the actual DEA.  He promptly hung up on me.

Prank Call
if you have read the above then you know the story. Just received the same type of call from a Jeffrey Sweeney. Told me that I could mail the "DEA" $1500.00 on 3 different debit cards $500 each card. How stupid do they think we are? I had never heard of this scam before and it did set me back a second. But as soon as I said that I would happily go down to the local court with my attorney and talk over the matter...because I knew I had done nothing wrong...."Agent Sweeney," told me that officers would be at my house tomorrow...and that "I SHOULD WATCH MY A**"....and he hung up on me.

What a joke!!!! These guys are idiots. PLEASE don't get fooled by them. And if you are worried that it is real...it isn't... so calm down and get on with your good life!!!!!

This guy called my former employer and told them to get  in touch with me regarding illegal internet purchases. OUTRAGOUS!!!!   I just blasted him on the phone and he got very rude to say the least. Once I told him I was recording he hung up. So I would suggest, that when he calls, tell him you record all conversation on your phone and you'll be done with him. What a Lowlife.................

Just got the call mentioned here and got the same lines. I told this jerk that he could talk to an attorney if he liked and he said "see you in court" and hung up. Said "don't call back!"

I then got a call again from the same number asking for another persons name I did not know and I said to him in a deep, joking voice, "is this Mr. Moretti?" and he quickly hung up.

He has a deep New York, or Boston accent.

Prank Call
I received a call from Washington DC. ( 202- 241-0206) at approx. 3:15pm CT. The individual said he was DEA agent "Mark Waller" and repeated much of the same comments aforementioned. I did not give him enough time to solicit any money from me.  I told him I would be happy to comply with any "investigation" AFTER I verified his identity. I asked for his call-back number and he provided me with the number he was calling from and this number. The call kinda takes you off guard, and my first reaction was...what has my kid got himself into now? ): Thanks a lot to all reporters before me!

I received a call this morning from this same drug enforcement agent.  He did his little speech about how drug companies call me all the time and that I was in trouble.  Luckily, I have had this call before.  I told him he was full of it.  He told  me I shouldn't speak that way to a DEA agent.  Next time he calls I am going to tell him I like handcuffs bring it on.  Hopefully they check this website and will quit calling all of us.  Don't be fooled.  They scare you the first time they call but don't give them one red cent.

I got this call as well. A guy saying he was with the DEA told me I had a warrant out for my arrest and a search warrant for my home for ordering illegal prescription drugs from over seas. I could go to jail or settle for $1500.00 out of court. He even told me I would pay the money at a Federal Court House, not wire money or anything like that. Total Fake, don't fall for this scam.

What is scarry is the amount of personal information he had about me.  I realized it was a scam immediately and I didn't get his name.  Claimed to be "law enforcement" and when I said what law enforcement he said DEA and I had committed a felony and he was sending officers to my work and home.

Knew my home address and wifes name who he also threatened to "involve".

Our credit card was scanned recently and my e-mail account was hacked a while back so I guess that's how they got the personal information.  Waiting for the next call, don't know what to do, call DEA or local law enforcement.

"DEA Agent Anthony Moretti" is busy today! Got his call from 202-239-0955, same story as posted already. Started off quickly giving me his name, agent id, etc, and then saying 'i bet you're wondering why a DEA agent is calling you?'.  I told him I wasn't but he continued anyway.  His connection was crappy, I kept making him start over haha. He referenced an online purchase I made 4 years ago etc (his facts were wrong, it was 6 years ago that i may have).  This guy sounded like an overweight old government worker who drew out his words (he's good i admit).  Anyway he asked about if i knew it was illegal buy to drugs online etc, that he intercepted a shipment in DC, and asked if I knew it come from Dom Rep? I said I wouldn't rule it out cuz lots of companies outsource to overseas. He said it's felony and so many years in prison blah blah. He mentioned he did have my signature on a FedEx item sent to my address etc (trying to establish proof for his scam).  I waited for him to finally shutup then I hung up. He called right back and left a vm saying he was 'disappointed that i chose to treat a federal DEA agent that way' (gosh, i didn't know our DEA had feelings) and that he's 'sending federal agents to my work to pick me up'.  I'll wait for his call again and not answer.  I'm sure he does have mailing lists from online pharmacies that get passed around to these thieves who are likely associated with them somehow. I've been getting calls for six years from 'doctors' wanting to refill prescriptions for me right over the phone (so nice of them!).  Its usually a 770 number, but I quit answering these almost six years ago as they're likely scammers too.

I had a call from "Anthony Marotta" while getting ready for church.  He had me in tears telling me things that only people close to me would know.  He threatened sending police to my home if I did not agree to work things out on the phone.  He wanted me to join a "Defender Relief Program" to clear my name for something that I did not do.  He convinced me that my ex-husband had done fraudulent things in my name. It wasn't until he started telling me to go to the nearest Wal-mart and get money to clear my name that I knew this was a scam. It is sad that people like "Anthony" exists and prey on human emotions and vunerability.  Please post if you get a call from this loser.  Hopefully, he will get stopped and serve his time.

Just got the same call.  He caused me to miss a boat tour with my family.  Wanted me to send him $500.  He said I was due in court Monday.  I asked him why I wasn't notified sooner.  When I refused to pay he said he said he was sending agents to my home.  I notified the DEA.

I received a call from someone pretending to be Anthony Moretto who is areal DEA officer. He claimed I had ordered pharmaceuticals online and was facing felony charges. I had read about the scam so I played along. he told me if I put $500 on 8 = $4,000 on a local 7-11 scratch off cash cards and sent them by Fedex to him, the Judge would drop the charges. I pretended to be alarmed for some fun. I said I would get the cards but it would take time. He called 10 times pushing harder and harder. When I eventually told him I didn't order this drug and sorry, he tried to get less cards and got threatening. I told him his threats were a felony and no DEA agent would do this, he told me he was sending agents to my home to shoot me. I laughed and said I had recorded him and he hung up. If you get such a call, call the DEA hotline at Report Extortion Scam: 1-877-792-2873..
