I have received several of these calls, sometimes two or three times in a roll.  The guy, with the hard to understand accent,
says essentially the same things all of you are reporting, however today, I also received an e-mail from him stating the same stuff he says on the phone, but I am to call him at this same number,  Fat Chance!!! Scam!!!!

I too am getting these calls and they need to be put in prison!!!!! I don't answer ph. and reported to police-State and county nd had all my numbers unpublished as well as accounts!  Fraud!!!!!!

pls anyone recieveing from this site , I get phone calls like this all the time , and sick of it , I started googleing phone numbers and if they are a legit business it will tell you on phone search , look them up . don't believe any of it .and also from JAMAICA SCAMIMG COUNTRY TO THE US..  and they have many different numbers. I wish there was someone to stop all this ..

I have gotten 2 phone call threats from this number , and when you don't answer his questions he gets angry with you , well i get angry to cause of all this scam going on, I told this guy I owe no one or payday loans. and I told him to take me to court cause I have more proof of his scam then he does on this matter bank statements says it all . I laugh at him and told him your a joke and I hope you get caught and sent to prison for this crap..

No, he wont get on a plain to get me but I'd like him to think I will get him. I'd love to get their exact location and suprise them with my knowledge.

I Keep getting these call stating that I have to pay $396.56 in oder to resolve my matter. There accusing me of recieving a loan that was never payed off from the parent company Cash Advance USA. I have asked multiple time to send me something in writing and they refuse.

Who falls for this junk? Officer Thomas Brown from the Federal Division of Federal Crimes? With an Indian accent? Most FBI agents call themselves "Agents", not officers. I saved the voice mail, too funny. Will get back at them, that is for sure.

Just tell the idiot that he shouldn't be impersonating an officer to a law enforcement officer.  If he can say he is one then by all means you can tell him that you are also one and go scam someone who doesn't know the law.   I can say it because I was in law enforcement for over 25 yrs so I do know the law lol. Don't let anyone who calls with a middle eastern accent scare you, it is most likely coming from a phone bank in India, and do you really think he is going to get on a plane and come get you?

Officer something with heavy india accent calls says "This is Officer" and that's as far as I let him get before I started laughing.  I told him to do a little homework because you shouldn't call someone in law enforcement when you are trying to scam and scare someone by impersonating a Federal Officer,  needless to say I won't be getting another phone call from this idiot.  Just remember people no one can serve you with legal anything over the phone.

I just got a phone call saying I owe $475.35 to a cash advance company.  they told me that i have to pay them half to stop it from going to court. His name was Officer William Alexander(supposedly).  He wanted me to go get  a money pack green dot card with an activation code, they couldn't take my personal info like a check card which i didnt give it to them.  Said it was a social security card  issue. Normally wouldnt you get something in the mail stating this info??  I did do a cash advance thing a couple years ago but  no one ever called me from them.  I just told them I couldnt get the money and they said an officer will be over in 45 mins. I hung up on them.  the place was called Cash Advance.

They did the same thing to me today. Was trying to get me to pay and would then do an investigation if it was found that i was telling thr truth i would get my money back but wouldnt do investigation unless i paid first. I told them i was not paying they then said they were sending a warrant to the state police. I called the state police and he told me i did the right thing. It was for a loan place called cash advance usa

I recieve these calls at least once a day.  Even sometimes at work.  Thankfully the woman who works as our receptionist is a little old lady with an attitude and a heart of gold.  They've been threatened with harassment charges before, and usually when I get a call like this from an unlisted number, IF I answer it and they start in with this bologna, I just calmly explain that this call is being recorded to be forwarded on to my attorney, and to the State Attorney's office for violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (linked below).  This is not a legitimate debt collector, and the company they claim to represent has even put up warnings on their site about this scam.  I've even had one person in this kind of scam look me up on Facebook while on the phone with me and make lewd suggestions and how he was going to find me and do unspeakable things to me and my family.  That was the first time I ever received one of these calls, and I immediately called the Sherriff's office.  When the deputy arrived, he called back the number and actually got a hold of the person who was trying to scam me and told him that he WAS an officer of the law, which scared the guy enough to hang up the phone and shuffle his 'number scrambler' so that number wouldn't redirect to his phone again.

Same thing happened to me today. Except their names are captain David brown and officer micheal Anderson, and are middle eastern accent. What out for these people. He was cussing at the end of the conversation, and had a police officer call me, stating he was a sheriff, not true, called the number back and went to a 911 dispatcher. Really smart. Gave the names to the dispatcher, and no names were there.

keep calling for someone I don't know saying im legally in trouble.  told them I don't know the person and it is a business phone line and they wont stop

He got me for $388 I am pregnant and emotional and I thought this officer calling was real and my parents sent me a Money order for it.. I'm too embarrassed to tell them I know now it was a scam .. :(

this guy keeps calling for my daughter who dose not live here anymore, disguising himself as officer cary cooper, saying she is in some leagle trouble and he needs to talk to her attorney ,
. my girl has been in and out of trouble in L.A. ca he might be breaking the law to get in touch with her. I know she has run up some debt

I just got off the phone with someone who deals with dept collector harrassments and scams, and since this business is unknown/not legit the most that can be done is to block the number and contact your ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE!!

I got a call from this guy to Officer Michael Anderson and another guy named ROb Murphy. They threatened to take me to jail for a $210 dollar loan from cash advance usa that i have never accepted or seen before. they have even called my job and were rude to my managers!!!! SCAM!!!! As soon as i asked the guy if this was legit or a scam he started yelling at me and counting down from 10!!!!!!

This number just called me and said I have a lawsuit being filed against my social security number and that im going to jail?!?!?!? the guys says his name is Rob Murphy (or at least thats what he told me) and theres another guy. He said i had a loan for $210 deposited into my checking account!!!!  I was trying to explain to him and find out what he was talking about because i tld him it wasnt true, he started yelling at me and counting down from 10!!!!!!!!!!!!  THese people are very rude and nasty! I called my bank to verify and spoke to an ACTUAL REP and he tld me there was NOT such an existing transaction at all that has happened to my account and to keep hold of my transaction history as PROOF!!! This company has even called my JOB and been nasty towards my MANAGER!!!! I need to figure out how to file a complaint and lawsuit against this company for harrassment!!!! ADVICE???

Got a call from a office Michael Anderson saying I had to pay $200.00 or go to jail - that I recieved a pay day loan I did not pay back - from Cash Advance USA never heard of them and did not get a pay day loan.  They are very cruel. DO NOT ANSWER IF YOU A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER.

They will not stop calling I did a pay day loan online. The guy called my work number that I provided for the loan he talked over me saying he was sending I've an arrest warrant to the state police and someone was coming to my house to arrest and now they will not stop calling how do I get then to stop I can't take personal calls at work

They have called me constantly. They have threatened me with Federal prison. If I dont pay them over $4000 by the end of the business day. How can they keep doing this to unsuspecting people. BEWARE!!!!!!

It is absolutely false and a scam. (DEA scam?).  Once an arrest warrant is issued, you cannot pay to have it stopped. Anyone who makes that kind of claim is a scammer.  They are spoofing a 202 Area Code number (Washington, DC) to trick you into thinking they are a US Government Agency. DO NOT DO ANYTHING THEY ASK!
