Sorry but ordering medication over the Internet is illegal.   These people have their name on a list because they ordered controlled medicine over the Internet back years ago.    About (10) years about anyone could order this medicine over the Internet using credit cards etc.......    So when it ended they sold they names to these scam artists.   You would have to be pretty dumb to believe it.   DEA agents don't ask you to wire money overseas.   DEA agents are after the people who sell these drugs not the "users".   I'm very thankful that the USA stopped this and I'm 9 years drug free.    They can call me all they want, they will hang up as soon as you say you aren't going to send a dime.

First off I can't believe how many people write complaints when they get a call from someone and do not leave a message.  This is not illegal.   I'm an HR person and I call 100's of people daily about employment.  If they do not answer I do not leave a message.    Unless your sure someone is running a scam there is no need to report I got a call from x number and they did not leave a message (WHO CARES).   I also do not leave messages for my friends either (I don't enjoy talking to machines except on business but when I call about jobs, the person looking should answer, if not there are 100's of others that will) when I use my personal phone and I also do not display my number.

I think this is about people running scams over the telephone, no people who do not want to leave messages.  Those who refuse to answer private numbers and just fools........

I did get a call from this number saying they were the DEA, etc.......    I did something fun and called them back and played games with them.   I scared the hell out of the guy over there.   It's actually a call center with many phone numbers in either Mexico or the Dominican Republic.  They run many types of scams.  The sad part is they know they can't be touched as they are not in the USA.   The FTC will not do a thing as they have no authority.   These calls come from USA numbers but are originated our of the USA.

If you get a call from them call them back a few days later and give them a dose of their own medicine.   After (4) months of calling me they finally stopped.

People do not wire money to strangers, you will never get anything back and lose your money.   If you want to help out these poor people then go ahead and send it as a donation.   Good Luck getting a receipt for the IRS though.

These guys are genuine scumbags, preying on the ill, the elderly and the gullible. Same schtick every time -- Impersonating a DEA " Special Agent," and attempting to extort money (as a "fine") from people who utilize internet pharmacies. They do their best to sound authentic and scare the bejesus out of you, until you hear the scam itself, filtered through their ridiculously thick Dominican accents (the Dominican Republic being the hub of their operation). Try mocking, insulting and/or threatening to call the FBI on them, and see how wuickly they drop the act by swearing at you or simply hanging up.

Here's an actual DEA press release warning consumers not to fall for these idiots' ploy:
