I received the same call informing me that the"government" (whatever that is exactly, I don't know) wants to give me money (if that doesn't have scam written all over it, then I don't know what does). I refused to give them any information until I checked it out on my own time. I never gave them any personal info & I didnt commit to anything. I thought they where Virgin mobile, because I was called on a Virgin prepaid phone & the number on my caller i.d. was the same kind of number Virgin's customer service uses: 001-0000.
I hate scammers! These are the same kind of trash that make up the "mafia". Thugs & lowlifes who rip off hard working people like myself, kind of like their "Protection" racket. In fact, some of these illegal call centers are owned & operated by various organized crime figures.. I'm poor, under employed, and already in debt. These scumbags deserve the worst inhumane treatment in a public setting by the victims they hurt...
