i keep receiving calls from #202 241-4918.  I have never picked up before.  today, after a subtle threat was left on my answering machine about action being taken by the IRS against me, I called them.  I knew there was no reason why the IRS would be taking action against me.  I had received no letter from the IRS, no notice whatsoever.  Any way, after calling the above mentioned #, a man answered and, in an unknown accent, but decent English, he asked to speak to my son.  I asked what this was regarding and he said he was not authorized to give out that information.  I told him that my son didn't live at home any longer and he hung up.  not even a goodbye!

Just received a call from a " CIA, investigator", that said that that there is a criminal investigation against me. "There are . 2l charges against me for not paying federal taxes"

Yeah!  He called me 21 times.  TWENTY ONE TIMES!  Aren't there OTHER numbers he could call?  Seriously... am I suuuuch a favorable candidate for his SCAM?  Thank Goodness I have had contact with the IRS and I KNOW that they would NEVER leave such a hard to understand message with individuals who cannot pronounce the most basic words in English.  At the rate they were going, their telephone number was not even audible until about the 12th message.  Gracious!  I agree w/ Jerry.. keep calling them every 15 minutes and block their operation...

I received this call--could not understand most of what he said, but I did hear arrest if I did not return the call.

They have been calling us non stop for two days. Finally left a message that we needed to listen to several times to decipher!  The caller was completely mumbling in a thick accent. After decoding the message we learned that we owed money to the IRS and if we didn't send money the local police would be called. Such a scam!

I had a phone this morning from the  "so called"  Criminal Investigation Dept looking for my husband ( who does happen to be foreign. HOWEVER I am not  and am very aware of how the law should work - so I thoroughly enjoyed putting the bogus idiot through the wringer and toying with him.  I was already well aware of such scams and was  in a wicked bad mood when he called - so I had the  pleasure of venting on ' PAUL SMITH' ( with foreign accent) in no uncertain terms. Hope it ruined his coffee-break because I thoroughly enjoyed mine.   Please be aware that if any law abiding agency has something to say to you it will be in the form of correspondence.    Never call these numbers back and make your phone *82 available only in an effort  to deter these scammers.  Hope this helps.

This is the second call, first one some guy named Rick said I owed money and if I didn't pay now police would be there to arrest me, my response was go for it, I will be ready.  Just got another call with a disconnect, when I called back automated system saying IRS and mailbox is full.

Strong accent, probably indian, he said he was from the crimes investigation unit, i couldn't hear much else besides federal investigaion, arrest warrent, and something about arresting me, i hope these people get caught and thrown in jail.

I got a call yesterday. he called himself as IRS agent.  he said that i did miscalculation on my tax return from 2010 through 2012. he said he already sent my case to DHS (department of Homeland security) come to arrest me within 2 hrs. he provide his name is Marvin, his badge number is 1092, he said my case # is MR201527. he said something about my bank account doing something illegal. DHS would be in front door soon. these people need to be arrested ASAP, their life time must be in jail.

I got the same message and I got so scare but I know that I never do anything wrong.  So there is no reason for the warrant and I found out that it is a scam.  The person who called have strong accent and very difficult to understand what he said.

I got a message on my phone on March 1, 2014 @12:00 state that his name is Agent Tommy Parker and he is a crimimal Investigator from warrant division.  I have a diificulty understand him because he has very strong accent.  I have to listen to the message for more than 20 times and have my son and my daughter listened for serveral times to get the information.  He said he has a warrent to arrest me and soon or later it's depend on the date and time that local policeman will come to my door to arrest me.  He wanted me to call him back @202 241 2126 .  I called back the number and no answer then the message said the person at 7706412 is not available.  Then I called back again it said the magic Johnson customer and I call again it said the mail box is full.  Then I called again it said to leave a message.  I talked to several of my co-workers and a few of my co-workers said they got the same message. It is a scam and don't give him any information. I went on line to research the phone number and it turned out to be a scam.  So be careful this jerk is around scaring people.

Called me at home from 202-241-2126, said that I was under investigation, said there was an arrest warrant out for me.  The made mistakes with my name so it sounded fishy.  When I probed, he said he was calling from the IRS Criminal Investigation at 1111 Constitution Ave., but when I asked for the name of the supervisor, there was a pause and then they hung up.  There was talking in the background, so the post below about this being a restaurant seems plausible.

This is the second time these a-holes have called our home threatening to arrest my husband for unpaid IRS "fees" (I think, their accent is so strong it's hard to figure out what they're saying).  

The caller left a message that they were from the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the IRS and threatened that if I don't call back the police will come and arrest me. From the reporting list, I can see the trend that the scammer is targeting foreign last names.

"rick cooper" guy seems to be looking people up by last name and calling them.  My dad got the same call the same day you did and he has the same last name.

yes. my dad got the same call yesterday.  I called 50 times and got the same automated msg.  Three hours later I finally got through and "Rick Cooper" said we owed the IRS.

I got this phone 202-241-2126 . They told me I own IRS tax , I have to pay by electronic card in 24 hours . If don't they will report to the police to come to arrest me. I didn't own anything , but I'm so scare . I told I don't have card , so now I find out they are scam . I wanted to report to the IRS and everybody be careful . Don't be scare IRS . If we own tax , IRS still give us time . They will the notice at least 2 time . We still have time to pay Tax .

agent j.c. jone called me to have bank accounts and mortgate info. ready to work with her to avoid arrest because there were fault in my 1040 wrong. strong accent , and she know my address. I toll her that was a scam , I'm not a stupid .

Every minutes i recieved a call from this number 202-241-2126 and tell me that calling from CID they are representing IRS and they provide the federal badge ID and represent as MARK JOHNSON,RICK COOPER and EDWARD SMITH  and they use to me a lot of arrest warrent ID what a f****ng INDIAN scamer .This kind of call disturped me everyday they use to speak like indian black dog accen is not good i cannot understands even a single words if i recived even a single call from today i report to AMERICAN CID........ so indian scamer to not call me okey.Lastly if you guys want to scam with AMERICAN people change your acen and speak good english.....

Got a call today saying I owed $1247 to the IRS. Could barely understand the two guys I talked to. They said the local police would be at my door in one hour, along with the Depertment of Homeland Security. Apparently I am suspected of criminal activity and money laundering.

It would be more convincing if - "CIA Agent Parker" - that called informing me of my impending arrest and whatever scam he was trying to pull SPOKE ENGLISH!  He mumbled in broken english over and over on my message machine.  Won't stop!  

I received a phone call  Saturday morning at 7:45, a female with thick accent said she was calling from crimes investigation unit on behalf of IRS, she could tell our names, street address correctly. I told her IRS doesn't work on Saturday and if she works for IRS, send me a formal letter via Post Office to my address. She told me she did and the letter was returned. I asked her phone # for a return call later since I was not ready for her questions. Then I googled the phone #, and checked IRS website, it is a scam. She called us back this afternoon and hung up after my husband yelled " I know you are a scammer,I've checked your number on internet, don't call me again" LOL

The (202)280-7675 ans (202)241-2126 are scammers saying they are the IRS. If you dont pay the fines and taxes, they wuill have local police arrest you. Their primary targets are foreigners who are not famaliar with the true IRS. The real IRS make contact to you via snail mail ONLY. These callers are scammers. Unfortaunately, they were successful with 1 of my residents in NW Ohio.

I encourage everyone who gets called from these jerks to call them back CONTINUOUSLY (every 30 sec). Apparently, they are stupid enough to use a phone line for their restaurant business (There is an Egyptian restaurant in EGYPT that has this telephone number listed on their Facebook!) to make this call. The continuous phone calls apparently clogged their line up and THEY DON'T LIKE IT!
I got a call this AM from these jerks at number 202-241-2126. I really got pissed off and called them back every 30 sec. Initially, there is just a message stating that "this mailbox does not accept messages." Eventually, the phone line opened up. It took about 40+ calls until these jerks were so bothered that they finally picked up, and even called me back on my cell phone. At first, these jerks got into cussing and threatening match with me (at least, I think that was what it was since I really could not understand them very well). Eventually, after another 40+ calls from me leaving 40+ message "whoever the a-hole who called me today and pretended to be CIA agents, pick up or I will keep calling all f...... day," some other jerk finally picked up and POLITELY begged me not to call because it disrupted his "restaurant business." He pretended to not know who called me but said he will find out and will tell him not to call me again, POLITELY.
The most important thing I got from this is that the barrage of continuous calls DOES disrupt whatever "business" these jerks are doing! It probably prevents them from using the line to con other people!
Once again, I do encourage that anyone who receives calls from these lowlife jerks at 202-241-**** to "return the favor" and barrage these as**oles relentlessly to interfere with their "business." Hopefully, these little actions will tie them up and take their time away from conning others.
