"Brian Lincoln of IRS" with thick Indian accents said that I have not paid tax for the last 5 years even though the IRS sent me a message by UPS.  His number is 202-241-4929. He said all the conversation will be recorded, and that he will guide me step by step.  He said that if I don't resolve this issue today, IRS will sue me.  I went to the bank at about 4:10pm, and found that the bank was closed.  I told him that I will call him tomorrow.  I thought this might be a scam, typed IRS 202-241-4929 on Google Search window, and found many reports on this scam. http://mradio-vijesti.org/?p=13226 said,

ryder jason was the caller name, called my sister in law claiming she owe $3000 in tax and she need to pay $500 in 45min.if she dont they was going to take her kids and arrest her.so they send her to an address that lead her to our local walgreen.thats when my other sister in law figure it out it was a scam.  

Received this call last night left the message claiming that a Dominic Spencer from IRS wants to talk to me about my IRS tax record. He knows my legal name, and my home address. Although it sounded like a thick Indian accent, which raises a huge red flag, because of its out-of-no-where weirdness, I called back to verify what's going on.  

After 5 min talking to some other thick Indian accent person, with apparently pre-scripted paragraphs that he was reading, I told him, it's joke and a scam, and I hung up, disregarding his threatening tone of voice - saying something like "in one hour, if I don't act, the police is going to take you away and put you in jail for up to 8 years"...

ONE SPECIAL WARNING:  when he asks to verify your information with him AT VERY BEGINNING. DO NOT give him your SSN as he put it as - "Tax payer ID".

After a few minutes feeling being amused by this kind of dubious call, I started to get angry and think: how many others get this kind of calls?

This number called my sister yesterday and left a message for me. The individual who left the message stated his name was Dominic Spencer. When i called this number, the individual who answered sounded like it was a personal line. He proceeded to tell me he would have to transfe rme to a federal agent who is handling my case. When the agent got on the phone, he told me the IRS had been auditing me for 7 years and they have criminal charges against me as well as fraud charges.While he had other folks talking and interupting him while he was on the phone with me. He told me I would be arrested within 30mins. he got frustrated with me when I asked too many questions and had him repeat himself several times.  I know  the accusation about my taxes were wrong because I file a very simple tax return every year and have just recenlty filed and spoken to an IRS agent about my refund and was never told there was an issue. My accountant told me this was bogos and my brother who is a lawyer asked me to google this number and here we are.....

Ignore it.  Total scam.  IRS never initiates contact with phone calls.  These are scammer/extortionists located in india.

I just received this call. The guy said that his name is called Dominic Spencer and telling me that he is IRS agent. I need to contact him. I really know that my taxes do not have any problems. Then I want to find out who is that people. I go to Google searching this man and finally I got this answerer from this helpful website to let people report this matter to public and let everyone pay attention.

Received a call from a fake irs agent stating my father owed money and that they were gonna send an arrest warrant out if they didn't get it right now. My mom actually freaked out and started crying. Lol smh

called from Brian, Daniel , and he claimed to be an IRS Agent. If you receive such call report to the local police Dept. or THE REAL IRS! :}

The number is registered with Ymax, so it's a MagicJack number.  So they could be calling from anywhere in the world.

I RESIDE IN HOUSTON, TX AND HAVE BEEN RECEIVING CALL FROM DANIEL BRIAN, RESIDANT IN DC. ALLEGING  THAT I HAVE NOT FILE MY TAXES SINCE 2003 TO 2013 AND I OWN SOME ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS TO THE IRS.

Woman named Danielle Pride calling from IRS stating that person was in serious trouble if no call was returned.

Claims to be Brian Lincoln from the IRS.  Left a message on my answering machine, said nothing specific, referred to the issue as "this mess" which seemed odd.  I would expect him to reference an issue case number.  Also I would expect to get notifications from the IRS in the mail.  I am marking this as prank but only because Fraud wasn't an option.

Calling from IRS - Agent 'Daniel Brian' for 'fraud charges pressed against me' and that I need to talk to his 'senior agent' or represent myself at the nearest police dept in 45 minutes with a lawyer.
