Also received this phone call in November. I am on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and he said that the Mayo Clinic had already purchased many properties here are were ready to go with opening new clinics. He told me that he would be setting up a phone interview with a Dr Patrick Shaunessy. I never heard from him again. I can't figure out what would be gained from these phone calls but I also would advise if anyone sees this before going any further to ignore the call.

I have also received this phone call. It sounded really legit, but after doing some research, I found these posts. Ignore it.

I am a PT. I also got a call from this number at my workplace. My tech took the number down. Here is the script he uses " Want to touch base with you, I'm from the Mayo Clinic"
Avoid.

I got a call from my collegue statitng that Dan Keller, on 9/14/2009, was looking for me, he claimed to be a business associate with Dr. Martin Reinhardt from the Mayo Clinic in DC.
Well, there is never was a Mayo clinic in Washington DC, only arizona, florida and Minnesota. Furthermore, the mayo clinic confirmed that there is no martin Reinhardt either on staff. In adddition, It turns out that this Dan keller is accessing resumes on career builder, calling them and providing false information regarding his identity. AAVOID HIS CALL and have that number blocked from you home and cell phone. It's a scam.
He called two of my PT collegues looking for me. I spoke with the police. they are aware.

It is very suspicious. He gave me a name of "Martin Rhinehart" (sp?) who was to call me on the evening of 3-2-2009. Yup, he didn't call and Dan refuses to call me back. Dan saw my resume on a website and claimed an I.T. opportunity was coming up in 60 days that I was a good fit for.

May be phishing for resumes. He claimed on 2-4-09 to have a contact person in my area who was supposeed to call me for an interview. He later claimed that person "had phone trouble" when trying to call me. Nothing more, and my calls to the number are no longer returned.
