dd 2011-06-06 20:41:25 Unknown
selling software scam, violating "do not call" list
Brenda Plat 2011-06-06 20:41:25 Unknown
I too just received this call. Thanks to who ever started this scam notice to let us be aware. They make the phone and request seem so real but I should have known that the government was not going to distribute money in this fashion because it would not give thoes citizens that do not have access to a computer a chance to receive. Boy they will try anything these days!

If this organization does exist I think it sucks that I just received a message
stating " This Affiliate has been terminated ".
I really could have used the money I am having a hard time making rent my car
is about to break down can't really afford another one at this point the
economy sucks but what REALLY pisses me off is the c***suckers like thease that
take advantage of us "little guys" that are just trying to make ends meet and
support ourselves and still pay those bills that we have to pay .To those
companies and organizations that take advantage of us by "gouging" prices on needed items like gasoline rent and so on Preston gives them a warm "F*** YOU"!

These clowns called twice in a row and they let the phone ring about 20 times before hanging up. I did not answer as I do not know this number.

I recently received a call from a man who idenified himself as Alan Friedman, about receiving this money also, He said to go to www.myfedmoney.com and stated this would be the only call I would get. I hope you will be able to locate this person, before he hurts some senior person who would not know who to call to let someone else know about this scheme.

It's Alan Freidman actually, a little history on his mail fraud conviction is here

Even without this info, you don't know what to think??? Not knowing what to think when being presented with an OBVIOUS SCAM is the first step towards keeping scammers in business.

I got the same call and I am in Indiana. They said to go to www.myfedmoney.com and I could get $2,500. When I tried the website, it kicked me back to Google. Hopefully, this means that the website has been taken down.

Recorded message from "Allan Friedman" offering federal funds without repaying and referred to website www.myfedmoney.com This is a violation of FCC rules governing solicitation.
Ken 2009-06-30 20:47:57 Unknown
Will get 2500 hundred dollars federal money that need not be returned
JT 2009-06-30 20:02:54 Unknown
Just got called by these guys as well. Caller ID said Washington DC. Looks like they've set it up that way in order to try and make the call look more legit.
I've sent in a complaint to the FTC. Here's their website if you want to do the same:

Got the same call from Alan Friedman as a recorded message. Tried to check it out through snopes.com but got nothing. Glad someone else is getting this and not just me. I'm in the Portland, OR area and I'm supposed to be on the "do not call" list. Guess that doesn't work well either. Also glad I checked this out before going to the website. Never know if they could be "identity thieves". Thanks.
