Telemarketer
This is the second time this week that Share Group has called me. This time the number they called from was different than the one they called from earlier this week. Both times when I attempt to call them back I receive an automated message stating "the number you have dialed has been disconnected".

I have also sent them a direct email to info@sharegroup.com asking them to place me on their do not call list and to stop calling me immediately. Hopefully they will listen to me.

Note that when I sent the above e-mail to the robo-callers at Sprint, I also cc:d the FCC.  Today they responded (pretty good service from a government agency) and here is their reply -- which may give you some other places to lodge your complaints (like the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney's Office):

"You are receiving this email in response to your inquiry to the FCC.

"Dear ,

"The FCC accepts complaints from consumers regarding unwanted telemarketing (sales) calls.  The FCC does not have the authority to investigate harassing or threatening calls.

"There is a jurisdiction separation between harassing or threatening calls made in-state versus those made interstate or internationally; that is:

"    Local or state-level law enforcement agencies have authority for dealing with in-state calls.

"    The Department of Justice/U.S. Attorney's office has authority to handle interstate/international calls.

"Ask your local telephone company about any services or advice they can provide, such as "call trap" and "call trace" which may identify the originating phone number of anonymous harassing or threatening calls.

Thank you.

I believe you are being called by Sprint.  Here is an interchange that I had with them a few weeks ago.  I'm not sure they've stopped every one of their robo-calls from all numbers because now I'm getting calls from 202-315-5382 and two other numbers, but at least I got a response to my e-mail to them.  Look around their site for their "Office of Privacy" and send them an e-mail at OfficeOfPrivacy@sprint.com.  It may take a few days, but at least they responded to me.  It remains to be seen if the calls actually stop after their 30 day window.

Subject: Obscene harassment calls from your company

 Dear Sprint...

I am receiving calls that I have traced to you several times daily from a variety of phone numbers (example: 920-268-8105).  This kind of constant harassment from your company is unacceptable.  Frankly, I consider these calls to be obscene and will report them as such.

Stop all calls from your company and your company's agents and from any and all area codes immediately...to both my cell phone number and my home phone number.  I will contact you by phone with the expectation that you will credit me with the many minutes you have caused me to lose during this period of harassment on both my cell line and my land line.

Since you have all information about me...including my annual income...I also expect you to remove all of that information from your database, and from the data base of any and all companies to which you have sold, or otherwise conveyed it.  I am not a product that you can sell.  That is obscene to me and we have federal laws about obscenity in place with both the FCC and with the US post office.

You should be ashamed of yourself.
