Just got a call from this number (202-321-4382)!! I let it ring several times and when I answered the call, he asked for someone which was not clear and I hung up!!!! I called the number back a recording said number invalid!!! Putting block on my phone!! N

Just received this call.  Un known numbers are always 50/50 for me to answer anyway.  I usually Google them before I do anything.  And here I am reporting a call from 202 321 4382. It would appear it's a scam.  God thing I don't have a dime to steal in the first place.  Lol.

Call received today, the scary thing is that the foreign sounding lady knew my name. Told me that I was picked by US govt for a 7000 grant, I hung up as I knew it was a scam

I have gotten a call from this number several times and have asked that they not call again.  Once I block that number I have been called by other numbers and they are alll the same.  They refuse to stop calling and it is definitely a scam.  All persons calling have a heavy accent.  They claim they are from US Grants.

This is one of my favorites...LOL...I have gotten this a few times before. They say I am being sent money because I pay my bills on time and a bunch of other stuff (once they said this I knew it was a scam). I stay on the line to see how far they will go. They eventually say that they will deposit the money directly into my checking account....all I need to do is give them that number.  LOL...how stupid do they think I am?  Don't answer that, lol.  I tell them to just send me a check.  They seem to have all my information anyway so just send me the check I won't give them my bank account number.  This goes around and around until one of us gets bored with the game or until I say that I know they are scamming me.  I would love to know how to catch these criminals....

Got a call this morning from this number that woke me up. Said hello 2x before an Asian sounding female asked to speak with xxxx using my last name. I asked her who she wanted to speak to. She repeated my last name 2x. Told her I didn't know who she wanted to talk to and hung up on her. Getting rather tired of these jack @$$es calling with their BS. To bad we can't do something in reverse to make their days miserable like send a loud signal thru the line that would fry their phones, etc.

Someone called from this number and I hung up and they called back threatening me with things they were going to do to me. I hung up again.

This number has called me 2 times a day M-F From 05/26/2014 to today 06/06/2014. Either I answer and say hello which then the caller hangs up, I answer and mute my phone and the caller says hello 2 times and then hangs up or I push the caller to voicemail and they never leave a message.

When calling the number back I get a variety of error messages and codes, all stating that the TN is not in service and to dial 611 for calling assistance.

My husband and I get a phone call from this 202-321-4382 several times a day; after picking up no one is on the other end of the line and I hear clik ;  it doesn't matter if your phone number is unlisted or not?  they still the number!!   We were told that it is a telemarketing outfit that is doing the calling.   We finally had to call our phone carrier to have the number blocked, so we wouldn't receive anymore calls from this number?

Total scam.  There is no grant.   They just want to get money from you.  Don't fall for it.

This is not the government, they are scammer/extortionists located in India.  No one knows how, exactly they pick their numbers but they do buy information concerning people and try to extort money from them by pretending to be IRS officers.
They are scammers!   Don't be taken in.

They like to pick on women,  single mothers, the elderly and recent immigrants.

This just happened to me this morning. This person is randomly selection phone numbers? They called my house phone. Perhaps they want to see if you are home, I do not want to be monitored by the government!!!!

I got this Asian sounding women who said I have been selected for a $7,000 grant I do not have to pay back. She said I'm not do do anything illegal with the money , gamble, or drink. She goes on to say that a survey I took and i was one of the lucky few  
oh how special. I know I need ky jelly if I'm stupid enough to belief this bull.

It is not unusual for these scam operations - most all are located in India, to make threats or get across the line.

They threatened to kill my Girlfriend..... Called them back and got Disconnect msg. Called the police and made a report.

Same thing here.  Told me I qualified for a $7000 grant.  Told me to call his supervisor back @ 315-633-3142 w/ my approval code BA121 as soon as I hang up.  I said if I'm already approved, why do I have to call back?  You obviously have my address, just send me my cash.  He got very confused and kept repeating "you must call my supervisor as soon as we hang up".  UHH no tx!

I receive a call from this number on my cell phone once a week. I told them to stop calling and now they just hang up when I answer I too tried to call back but allegedly it is a non-working number.

They call me 3 times a week, I never answer and they never leave a voicemail....

I got a phone call assuring me that I am the recipient of a $7000 government grant due to my outstanding citizenship. She hung up as I began to ask probing questions.

Just happened again a couple of minutes ago.....called, I answered and then they hung up without saying anything.

This happened to me too, and this the fifth time, what is going on with people. How did they get my info.

about 10' ago, I just talked a woman who called me from the number 1202 321 4382.   She said she was calling from Grant Office Washignton DC, and  for I was a good citizen, so the government  wanted to grant me $7, 000.00! from the way she talks, the way she started the conversation, the way she tried to polish her tone, I knew right away that was a trick to get my personal information.  I asked that she send me an email with all questions, I would respond to that email, then she said" I'll call you back", suddenly hung up the phone.  THAT"S a SCAM.

a woman call saying I.was.choosen to recieve.grant.write down a number2026979244 her supervisor and give code he will release money max Williams he told me to go any western union and purchase a card put 310 and call him back he will talk me through process money for application fee that I would get it back with the 7k

This number called me twice and I refused to answer but I did text and it did go thru but no response.
