Sleazy tea party robo-call from "Tea party patriots"
Full of misinformation and hate -- just like tea party members...

I've been getting several junk calls a day from a number of callers.  This one displays as "FREEVTRSRCH".  The "Do Not Call" registry is a total joke.  I bought a programmable call blocker which I can block area codes, exchanges or specific phone numbers.  When I get a junk call from an area, I simply program to block at the exchange level (202-350-xxxx).  When I get a junk call, the gismo hangs up on it after the first ring.  Seems like the junkers know they've been blocked and quit calling after only a couple of attempts!

My caller ID showed FreeVTRSRCH and the phone number is from Washington, D. C. If I don't recognize the phone number, then I don't answer the call.  I do, however, write down the phone number and other info on caller ID and fill out complaint form for Do Not Call registery.

Didn't answer and no message was left

In a recorded message saying how ObamaCare is ruining our country the man said I should press #1 on my phone and he would put me through to my local House of Representative (Republican) that I should tell him I want him "I have his back" and to continue with the goverment shutdown.  He identified himself as being from the Tea Party and the Tea Party Patriots.

Looks like we are all getting spoofed. Call here was "FreeVTRSRCH" which I assume means free voter search. Either some of you folks are making up who calls or else a variety of parties and organizations are using this number to stir folks up.

Called 3 times today. No caller ID, no message. Nice to see they have so much time to waste

I got a call from the same number but it was barack obama and he was advertising for the insurance companies he has made a deal with, ensuring them many customers.  I thing it is just for the democrats to buy votes with our money.  As if they don't have enough illegal voters already with the illegal immigrants and fraudulent voters, not counting the dead democrats voting.  And he is trying to force us to buy services from his business buddies.  Woe is us....

Caller ID'd as FREEVTRSRCH. 202 350 0048.  I did not answer, and no message was left. How important could it have been?  Idiots.

Unwanted call from Tea Party organization, offering to connect me at no charge to my Republican senator's office, in order to complain about her voting to fund Obama care. I did not respond.

This number called mine today, 09/30/2013, at 12:18 p.m. when I was away from the house. No message was left.

I just got the same call! They left a message,but half of it was cut off.

Jeff Flake vs Tea Party political call.  I'm on the do not call list and SICK of these intrusions!  My number is also unlisted.  As an ICU nurse who works nights... and the call came in at Noon (my midnight) I wonder how the callers would like to have their family member under my care tomorrow.... they might not like their nurse to be sleep deprived!

I just got a call from 202-350-0048 the caller id said it was from Washington DC i told my son not to answer he thought it was the president calling lol I told him there was no way it would be him. If People don't answer when a call comes from a number like this or any other why don't they stop because we are not going to answer them.

Rang twice, left no message.  Land line.

Called today at 4:04 CDT; left a message stating it was teapartypatriots.org and wanted me to call my senator and ask him to defund the AHCA.

Sounds like a bunch of scammers pretending to be politicians, lawyers, sheriffs,  and whatever else they think might get some money out of somebody.   Likely an offshore scam with India being a high probability.   These types of calls are pretty typical for them anyway --  surprised that Robin wasn't told to rush to Wal-mart to buy one of those green dot money cards and get them $500 immediately or the police would soon be there to arrest everybody.  

I'm unofficially starting a do not answer your phone to unrecognized calls effort.  If no one answered unrecognized numbers they would end. Educate all you know.  If someone has something important they will leave a message.

I get this call at least twice a day with a couple different numbers. Tired of this and other bothersome calls.

I suspect a lot (probably not all) of these so-called political calls are really scammers posing as a political organization.    Their goal, IMO, is more likely to  rip off anybody who answers the phone rather than to legitimately further any political cause.    

I didn't answer the call -- just disconnected it as soon as the caller ID showed.   I did call the number back and got the message:  "The number you called is not assigned" -- or something very close to that.  

Caller ID name read "FREEVTRSRCH".   I'm in area code 605.

This is obviously a scam. Called today (robocall) about connecting with my US Senator (press one) to fight obamacare. Claimed to be from teapartypatriots.com. However the caller ID ( FREEVTRSRCH) displayed number (202-350-0048) is non-working, and who knows what you will get charged for if you press "one". If this proves to be someone that I can identify if they call back, I will turn over to authorities for prosecution. Political robocalls are a crime in this state and, I believe, in some others. If anyone else gets anything to go on, please share it here.

This number (202-350-3476) with the caller ID saying "freevtrsach". They said that I was a defendant in a claim, with regard to a restraining order. If I did not call back, and call my lawyer, then I was going to be in trouble. When I called back, they knew my name, and claimed there was something about one of my sons. When I kept asking exactly what this was in regard to, they hung up on me. I think this must be a scam.

I am on Do Not Call but still got called by this number. Didn't answer, but they left a message about "a bad law". Couldn't understand much else.

I called 202.350.0048 and the recorded message said "This number has been disconnected.  Please hang up and dial again".

When anyone calls and ask if you will do a survey, just do as I do,  ask for their credit card number and tell them you are charging them $88 on their CC for their survey and your time.
