Daily calls from ALA 202-349-2194, I answer then nothing there.  Extremely annoying.

I have received several calls from this number.  I never answer them since I check my caller ID before picking up the phone.  They never leave a message.  I also get many calls during the day from other area codes and they also do not leave a message.

how does this @W#$%#@ idiot get our land phone #? we are elderly & always check the caller ID and if we don't know the party calling, we hang up on them , hoping the @#$^^%$#@ will get the message.
they called today Sept. 19, 2012 at 4:45. if they call again, we will hang up on them every time.

The reason a large portion of the people are having trouble with this number is because this number is being "Spoofed" by Delta Outsource Group, a collection agency located in O'Fallon, MO.  They will try and gather enough information to create an account.  Many bank accounts have been drained by this establishment and many "Spoofed" phone numbers have been fraudulently used to aquire information.
This not only hurts people by the harrassment, but also hurts the establishment that the number belongs to.

I receive 1 - 3 calls a day from this number at various times.  They hang up after three rings, and never let it ring long enough to go through to the answering machine.  VERY frustrating and annoying!!!  "ALA" is on the Caller ID.

these calls, or should i say hang ups should be illegal.  they call me several times daily. ala 202.350.0488

It's the American Lung Association!  They need to stop calling & @ least say something.

I've been getting calls from this number along with 202-350-0286 and 202-350-0188 for the past 2 - 3 wks.  Caller ID shows either Washington DC or Anonymous.  I've never answered & they hang up after it goes to voice mail.  Most days I'm getting 2 calls a day. Getting pretty tired of it.

I have received several calls from this number.  I never answer them since I check my caller ID before picking up the phone.  They never leave a message.  I also get many calls during the day from other area codes and they also do not leave a message.  I believe these calls originate from charities, political parties, sales people, and scam artists.  Beware of any calls from area code 876.  This area code is in Jamaica.  If you answer, someone will tell you that you won millions of dollars in a sweepstakes, but they want you to pay something for the transfer of funds.  There is no sweepstakes.  They just want to scam you.  They have been calling me since January 2012.  I haven't picked up the phone for several months, yet they still call.

Called again this morning at 8:15 am. CID says ALA. I never answer!

calls from this number, several times a day, when I do answer no one is ever there, caller id says ALA, has been happening for days

This number for me shows Washington, DC on my caller id!

I have receive several calls from this number and also from 202 350 0286.. the phone rings 3 -4 times and they hang up. Is there anyway to stop these calls?

These calls are still coming.  Today at 9 am.  Since this was so early, I know I'll be getting more today.  My answering machine picks it up, but they hang up.  You would think they'd get tired of calling by now.  This has been going on for weeks already.

I called back the number.  It went to VM for American Lung Association, allowing for me to take me off the call list.  We'll see if that works...

Just received a call from this number (8:18 am). Comes up ALA on caller ID. Have received calls from this number in the past. Let it go to voicemail. They never leave a message. Thought these calls weren't suppose to happen until after 9 am. Wish they would stop calling.....

They call a lot, but today they called at 8:15 am. I thought solicitation calls were not to start before 9:00 am?

This number called my work phone asking for a Dana. After telling him he had the wrong number he said okay we'll update our records and hung up. The caller ID says ALA.

Generally, these calls are just a scam to get people returning their calls.

Like Kris I get this 3-5 times a day and they always hand up. CID comes up as ALA.

NO message CID shows ALA @ 202 350-0488

I get four and five calls a day from this number. Answered once and demanded to be removed and they hung up on me.

Woman said she was calling  for a fundraiser for the American Lung Association.

I don't want these calls. No one is ever there, no messages, I don't have time for this crap!!!!!
PLEASE put a stop to these calls ~ sometimes 2 per day!!!!
