Asking to be removed from their do not call list is complete BS. I've asked (very nicely mind you) 5 times and I still get called from this number daily. I just asked again to be removed and this time I got snippy with the guy. Let's see if it works this time.

It depends on what type of phone you have. If a smartphone, get a free call block app. If a plain cellphone save the contact with Z Scammer and set the ringtone to none and missed call to none and voicemail to none (if available). If a home phone see if your phone company has call block or buy a cordless phone that has call block (Uniden and Panasonic both have models with this feature) or get an external call blocker like a Digitone Call Blocker or a Pro Call Blocker.
Political calls are not covered by the DNC rules and they seldom honor your request to not call you.

Went straight to my YouMail message which puts them on hold with smooth jazz and insulting comments...love it! One easy way to fight back at these idiots.

You can dial 3 during this message and supposedly get your number removed from their do not call list. I do it every time they call, then I go to their website (Just Google Restore Americas Voice Pac) and send them an email to remove my number. I keep doing it, and they keep calling. These people are showing no signs of ever removing my number from their call list.

Multiple calls to my Maryland cell, recorded loud political messages always requesting "urgently needed donations" to protect my constitutional rights. How about NO money and respect my rights to peace, quiet and privacy. Added to my Hang-up, Block and Robo-Swamp-Revenge list!
