They call but never leave a message. Why don't they leave a message?

This caller is harrising my aunt

They seem to be using an automatic calling system. They don't talk or leave a message. I don't waste my time saying hello, just put them on speaker system until I know that they hung up. Even if this was an legitimate 'collection agency', I would never give them any information. If they want to sue, let them.  These type of agencies are nothing but extortionists or even black-mailers, much as our so-called president or even the useless, mindless gov. of Mass.; the devil's Patrick.  +JMJ+

Sitting on the phone saying "hello" until someone decides to answer or hearing "please hold for the next available agent", "we have a call for this address" just don't give me the desire to be sweet for these idiots. Call leave a message and maybe I wiill return the call, but don't hold your breath. When the clowns start to piss you off there are a ton of answering machine recordings available that will piss them off, except they will just keep calling and you can hear them getting madder and madder. These a-holes deserve it when they keep calling with a machine and give no reason for calling and don't answer.

They call us 2 or 3 * a day never say anything?? And we have a private number!

Forgot to add to my recent post that they said the busines is located in Minnesota.  I then asked why would a business located in Minnesota have a DC area code.  He could not answer that and obviously if they were in Minnesota they would have a toll-free or at least a Minnesota area code.  I then asked to speak with a supervisor and he said he was a lead something...I asked to speak to whoever is his boss.  He stated no supervisor was on at the time but that he could send me to his voicemail, but they would tell me the same thing.

This number 202-367-9252 called my cellphone after 1:00am EasternTime.  Needless to say, my ringer was off so I was not aware of the call until the next morning.  However after having received four private number calls that day earlier that day, the last being at 11:15pm, I was surprised to see they unblocked their number.  I called back and spoke with a male who said the business was called IC Systems and handled personal matters.  I asked him what the I and C in IC Systems stood for and he couldn't advise.  He argued with me about receiving a call from his business at 1:00am, and stated that my cell phone's caller ID is wrong. He said the business has been in service for over 80 years--Yea right!!  Needless to say, he was getting no where with me with his BS, so I hung up on him.  However, a credit check with be done, as Im usually on top of financial matters.  Good luck to all you dealing with this matter.

This IC peopel call repeatly on a daily basis asking form some we do not know and have repeatly asked to be removed.  They say ok and call back.

I am an ex-debt collector.  Tough job, I actually received calls today, they called me 4 times in 3 hours, which i know for a face to be illegal. If you have no business with them and they continue calling, it IS in fact, Harassment.

This number start calling 1st thing at 8am then continue 2 call throughout the day about 12 last call end about 9 to 930pm...Its funny because i hav caller id and it says a cellular call..

Someone from this number keeps calling and asking for someone who does not live with us.  How do we get them to stop?

You can stop them by contacting your State Attorney General Office and go from there.

I keep getting calls from this number at work and when I let it go to my answer machine, they don't leave a message. I decided to answer the call today and they hung up on me...It is very annoying...

These idiots keep calling me but they have the WRONG call. I swear next time Im going to record the conversation and sue their a***s.

WE RECEIVE SEVERAL CALLS EVER DAY FROM THIS NUMBER.  WE ARE A BUSINESS AND I HAVE ASKED THEM OVER AND OVER TO STOP CALLING, BUT IT HASN'T HELPED.  NOW IF NO ONE IS ON THE OTHER END I JUST HANG UP.  

I DID FIND OUT THAT IT IS A BUSINESS CALLED IC SYSTEMS.   I GOT NUMBER BY DOING A *69 AFTER ONE OF THE CALLS.

I got 6 calls in less than 24 hours.  When I called back they would not say what it was they were doing or calling about. they said "it is about a personal business mater."  I finally got a supervisor and found out it was someone with the same name, kind of like I am the only 'steve smith' in Los Angeles.  The supervisor did ask me to verify certain information, correctly I was confirm if the info belonged to me.  It did not.  He said he would remove my telephone number from their system.  We will see.

By the way the number belongs to I.C. Systems.

Collection Agency has their caller ID read as "24 Hour Emergency Locksmith". Isn't this misrepresentation not to mention the 8 times they called in 2 hours????

Very annoying - god forbid somebody is unavailable to answer a call right away. {Let's keep calling until they think it's an emergency and we will use a different name so they will think it's something that can't wait until 2 hours from now.}

If your wife soon be be ex had a debt thats why they are calling. IC Systems is a collection agency. If I were you I would tell her and bring it to her attention because they are going to keep calling. Also you could call them and say no such person lives here and if they want to trip ask for a duplicate statement of some kind and at your divorce hearing/meeting present the document so that they don't try to attach the debt to you.

I have a friend that gets calls on their house phone and cell. One day he answered the women who answered had an attitude with him when he asked who are you. The women on the phone said is this so in so but didn't want to say who she was or where she was calling from. So I used MSN's search site Bing to find out exactly who these people are.....
