I was away on vacation and this number appeared daily, multiple times a day, on my caller ID when I returned home.  No messages.  Still not sure who this is, but this site and others indicate that this is a common pattern.

I have been getting a call from this number claiming that I had won $5,000,000.  I told the male caller that I didn't believe in these as they were scams and he said "NO, it's real. We will even bring the check to your house in 2 hours"  and i said "Really, and what do I have to do for that?"  And he replied "Just go to the bank and get a cashiers check for $750 to pay for the insurance"  My response?-  "The I guess I won't be getting the 5 mill!  Thank you, not interested!

Be careful - these people are scam artists!

I just called this number and got an automated message saying the calls come from a company called 'Strategic Fundraising' and you are put on their list when you sign up to some kind of Political (or other) cause. You are given opportunity to add your number to their "Do Not Call" list by calling them and pressing zero, then entering your number. I just did this and a prompt says it may take 48 hours to register with their systems. Will advise if this solves the problem but if "Mike" is saying what's true, then I just gave my house's number for them to call and try to scam.

This call from 202-367-9296 is from a scaming artists who is attempting to get your banking information! Once they get this information then all your money in your checking or savings account is gone! These people are also using the internet to feed the information from people who are innocent! ALERT YOUR BANK IF YOU HAVE ENCOUNTERED THESE PEOPLE AND THE LOCAL POLICE! Once the report is made ask them to forward the information to the local FBI so they can catch these individuals! The more the reports that are made the better the FBI can catch these scaming artists! These guys have even attempted to use FBI as a way to gain your trust! DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! They even send out emails!

Caller calls several times each day, never leaves a message....I don't answer numbers with no identification.

Received 2 calls this week when no one was at home.  No message left.

Republican National Committee. A woman asked me to if I thought we should fire Nancy Pelosi and install Baymer...

Never leave a message just call afew times every day.  Wish they would just dry up and blow away.

Received 4 calls from this number (darn they are persistent). No message so when they leave a message I still wont call.  Take note of the others who have received calls from this person, apparently a scammer!

Did the call back and "do not call" option work?  I believe it IS related to the NRP. Can't wait for Nov elections to be done and all the political ads will go away too. A one-time $25 donation got me inundated with 2, sometimes 3 political mailings a week, along with phone surveys and calls like this.  Almost makes me want to be a democrat - not - but you get the point.

I have received NUMEROUS calls -didn't answer - on my caller ID, from this number, over the past 3 weeks.

Incessant calling for over a week.... almost 2~3 times a day.

Ridiculous.

Numerous call per day, sick of it, never leaves a messaage  and if I answere it is just silence.

Called twice, I picked up the second time, didn't hear a response right away so I hung up.

has called and hung up 3 times today in the space of 6 hrs.

I've been getting the calls for several weeks, usually a batch of 5 or so within an hour period.   When I did answer originally, they hung up.  After the second time, I used the caller block feature on my phone so it rings once and then is blocked.   I'm hesitant to call them back to be put on a do not call list, so I'm going to contact the federal agencies that control this as obviously it is one number so it should be easy to handle, or maybe I'll put my computer system in a continual loop to call them non-stop.   I'll let the forum know if I get anywhere.

Call comes in -space- something about a commitment to a charity. googled # found all this. Whatever happened to the no-call list?

Have been getting several calls per day from this number. This goes on for a couple of weeks then there is a lull of a couple of weeks then it begins again. Been going on for months. I never answer the calls.

Called again today, now just ignore

got this call and picked up thought it was relative work number no one on other side.  Very creepy

This group contacts all hours of day/night and even on weekends!  We get multiple calls/day.  Harrassing me is NO way to get me to donate money!

That's a good one. I'm going to use it. Usually I tell them to hang on then I go back to whatever I was doing before they called. Sometimes I let them say their whole speech then ask them to repeat it from the beginning. After they do I ask them to repeat again.

Calls every day and leaves no message.
