Message is:  "Please call IC System."  When I called the 1st time, I was left on hold for 3 min(s).  Someone then answered & was looking for someone else. I told the operator she had the wrong #...., they continue to call up to 3x's daily. I now ignore them.

SAVE THE NUMBER UNDER CONTACTS . CALL THE CONTACT COLLECTIONS. WHEN THEY CALL AGAIN YOU KNOW ITS A COLLECTOR. THEN PROCEED TO SEND THEM TO VOICEMAIL OR JUST CALL YOUR PROVIDER TO BLOCK THAT NUMBER.

She claimed they were a consumer relations firm.  I asked if that was a new term for collection agency?  She said if you won't tell me who you are I can't tell you anything.  I said well let me assure you don't call this number again.

This agency has been looking for someone else, and I don't know how they got my number.  I think the feds should stop f'ing with professional sports, and handle harrasment in their special prosecutor dealings.  These folks have been calling my cell and my home looking for someone who isn't even in my family tree.  Get a grip.  I started the phone call back to them in a seriously rude manner.  We'll see if it works.

This lady actually told me that I needed to "cut back" on some things so that I can pay this bill. I told her that I am a college student and she said "well you should have thought about that when you went to the hospital". Have these people lost their damn mind?

The do not call list only works for companies that you do not do business with.  Companies that you have an agreement with including those they contract with are allowed to call you.  In regards to harassment the only way it is classified as harassment is if they talk or leave a message multiple times in a day for multiple days.  A company  can call you as many times as they want as long as no message is left.  .

Side note on IC Systems not only do they call me multiple times a day they call from different numbers.  I have had calls from Minnesota and Washington, DC so don't be fooled.

I will try this next time, never thought of doing that.  I wonder if he realized that cussing over a phone line is illegal by the FCC. Yes phone lines, Cell and land line are controlled by the FCC.  A company I worked for actually filed charges against a guy who use to call up and start cussing us out about calling him.  We were with his insurance company calling to make sure he was not having a problem getting his medication without any hassles.

I had a collection agency calling me for my ex-wife, told them not to call back even gave them the city she was living in, wasn't sure of her number.  They kept calling; talked to my divorce attorney she was nice enough to call the company, which they were rude to her.  She was able to locate a address and sent a letter with a threat to sue for harassment; they stopped calling.

For those of you that have experienced IC Systems' aggressive tactics, I'm sure you will all agree that it is absolutely ridiculous. For those of you that seem to be affected by their tactics - Why??? Don't give in to them. Due to economic conditions, more of us than ever cannot pay our bills. What is so funny is that the IC Systems employees will soon be one of us! So relax; be patient. What comes around, goes around. All of their idle intimidations do not work for me; therefore, they should not work for you. Do not negotiate with them. All you have to do is send, via Certified Mail, a Cease and Desist letter. You can get free samples online. You can even fax your Cease and Desist to them at 651-481-6516. Keep your transmittal confirmation. If they call again, just let them know that you have all of your supporting documentation to file a claim against them under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. You'll win $1000 for each violation. So I say again - DO NOT stress out when they call. Don't get mad; it's not worth it. If they were stupid enough to buy uncollectible debts, then they are stupid enough to violate the law. Also, if you want to have fun with them when they call you, don't confirm who you are (they will ask); just say "go ahead, give it your best shot; I have all the time in the world to listen and laugh". If you're lucky enough to be talking to "Scott", you'll be amazed at how viscious he gets. It's so funny!!! Finally, I'd like to reiterate - the current debt collectors of today will be where we are tomorrow. No one can pay them. Ironically, these company are forced to hire more people because many more Americans have lost their ability to pay. These companies cannot afford to pay their employees a base salary because there is no income coming in for these companies. So, the employees work on commission - it's in "their" best interest to use any scare tactic they can - if you pay them, they will then get paid. So, let's all give them a piece of the American pie and let them feel the hurt of job loss. Now, hold your head up high and be proud that you are doing the best you can. God forgives us; that's all that matters. Oh, and for the IC System employee that uses the name "IC is god"' in ripoffreport comments; well, it's obvious that you don't know God Himself. I will pray for you.
Keep smiling!

They not only sound like a 'boiler room' operation but they also chose to act like one!  Beware and be weary of these kinds of pressure collections because often times the so called debt has already been paid-or worse-it never existed! Example: Boiler Room operations do not provide any original paperwork to support these types of collections.  Instead, they simply chose to become more like bullies than professionals when they persist with borderline harassment  collection practices like the one I mentioned and also the ones listed here.  It's a real 'show me the money' steam boat circus show-complete with clowns and monkeys!

Just got a call. Asked for my name, they told me "one moment please" and hung up. I called back and only got "for 'quality assurance' this call is being recorded"

Do debt collectors know how to actually collect money or are they in the business to annoy people? They're doing it well.

This is the third time they have called me even though I'm not the person they are looking for. Everytime they call I tell them I've just got this number and they transfer me.

Then a recorded message says "for quality assurance this call is being recorded"

So I though I'd play with them. When they picked up I said "For future evidence in litigation this call is being recorded"

"Wha...What? you can't do that"

"Why not you're recording me"

"But I'm allowed to"

"So am I you called me, I didn't asked to be called.

"Oh F*** you"...Click.

Try this and see if you can get somewhere....Call the main office in Saint Paul...651-483-8201 ask for Sue Johnson ext 6509..she is in the legal dept...most likely you will get her voicemail...then follow the prompts on the phone and you will soon have the ability to use thier dial by name directory...When the phone system prompts you for the spelling of the person you want to reach enter Ken Rapp....last name first...(he is the President and CEO)  most likely you will get his voicemail too...but hopefully you have the ability to tell him that you have been documenting everything and have asked for a cease and desist and that if the calls continue from them, their forwarder or anyone else you will be contacting your State Attorney Generals Office and file a formal complaint

I think everyone who has been called by this company numerous times should call the CEO and complain.
