Unfortunately these good outfits like ACLJ hire 3rd party / outsourced call centers for fundraising. They can legally call anyone they 'have a relationship with'. I don't know about the rest of you but I gladly give to this ACLJ, they do a lot of good to protect America's freedoms, Constitutional precedents. But then they turn people off with who they hire to do their fundraising! I will give to them again, but only thru their website.

They call so early in the AM that it wakes me up. I will register with TIme Warner to block this number.  They also call using 202-769-0805.

you are ridiculous..why did you register to vote, if are not going to actually attempt to vote. Just so you can justify your complaints. The American League of Law and Justice doesnt just randomly call people, you or someone had to have given them that number. DOES IT MAKE IT MORE CLEAR IF I TYPE IN CAPS.

Not sure why you are inclined to think that. Your right to healthcare should be as everyone else's. Call an insurance company, discuss a plan that fits your needs and means, sign the paperwork, make first payment...done. If you can't afford it...get a job (or tell your husband to) and participate just like every other true American who has any ounce of responsibility in them does every day.

How can they restrict women's health care.  A woman can pay for her own BC if she want it you idiot.  There is nothing about taking that away, just not making everyone pay for it.  If we all pay for it then we should all benefit from it.

Received a call this morning, no message.   Based on the info above, I did some research and found they are an organization that wants to restrict a womans' right to healthcare.  It looks like they are our version of the Taliban.  I thought we were fighting them over there so we didn't have to fight them over here, but it appears they are over here already.  I will not be polite should they call back.

These calls are very annoying ,I want this blocked, they keep calling several times.  It's foolishness  block it

ACLJ  called at 8:30 AM,,waking me from a nice sleep on my day off.  Didnt answer the phone, but received it on my answering machine.  Called them back,,got a recording to press 1 to hear more info about the government. Wasnt that interested , but pressed 1 anyway,,and got hung up on. I believe they got my info from facebook when I saw an article about them on there and clicked 'like'.
Gonna punch it up on Facebook again and unlike them, and block them now.

The caller ID is West Asset Mngmt.  They have called at least 4 times.  I am sick of it.
It is time the Do Not Call Registry put a stop to it.  I googled West Asset and it does not appear to have any connection to the ACLU.  Very strange

They call at odd hours.  My directory id shows ACLJ.  When I answer, there is no response.  This is definitely an annoyance issue.

They have called me several times this week.  Today is Sunday, they call, I hear, no one says anything.  This is harassment, it is illegal, how can they be a good entity and resort to unethical behavior.  I am on the do not call registry.  I don't appreciate their tactics. I don't want them or any other solictor call me.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT!  They call constantly, never leave a message, and when you call back they do not speak but you hear them breathing until they click the receiver to hang up.  Every month, every other day just as below thus far for January as of 1/19/12:

How is it that West Asset Management and ACLJ are alternately identified on caller ID when this number is received?

They are a good org. They do a lot of good for America. I would just call them back and ask them to take you off their call list. I'm sure they will take care of it right away.

The American Center for Law and Justice is a non-profit organization that assists people in legal cases concerning religeous freedoms and protecting inndividuals rights. It is a good orgaininzation however they are very agressive when it comes to fund raising. My suggestion is you answer the call and politly tell them to place you on a "no call" list. The phone calls should then stop.

I've been called at least once, it was "-UNAVAILABLE-" and there was a man on the line.

Calls at least four times a day as West Asst Mgm. ACLJ also calls four times a day on another #. Both have been calling for months several times a day. This is harassment and elderly abuse according to my attorney. Phone company says if I block the #'s, they'll keep calling on other #'s.

this number with the initials :ACLJ....man started to speak about government etc...i hung up.
