ACIR has begun calling again after several months of peace and quiet.  Aggravating because they call at least once EVERY day.  When we see their ID on caller ID we don't answer.  DO NOT CALL registry doesn't apply since they're a "charity."  Time to complain to FCC.  

I found how to get rid of this caller - American Institute for Cancer Research.  The calls are placed by InfoCision.  Contact the Better Business Bureau, Wise Gift Alliance Department, in Washington, D.C. (area code 202)  and file a complaint.  The BBB will then contact AICR and in a week or so you will receive an e-mail telling you that your number has been removed from their calling list.  Explain in detail what is going on, including asking to be taken off the calling list and all telephone numbers used (I know of six).  You might want to read an article about them at http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-09-12/char ... lemarketer.html.

Got call from alleged DEA. They want money sent to Betania Duran in the Dominican Republic.  She is on Twiiter.  Sick. 202-239-2302. Feds, DEA, Homeland Security, and Western Union have all called this number last night and suddenly the message is no longer there saying they are the DEA. Phone is reg in Washington. Betania Duran is a crook.

Received a call with this number Caller ID said anonymous DUH who uses this inless it is a scam.....Going to pu it on do not call reguisty probably won't do any good they will just  get another number.

This is a scam organization.  They get your number and then continue to robo call you.  Google them & you will find out about them.  Don't give them any money. The address & phone number below is how you can contact them.  Call them & tell them you want to be removed from their calling list.  They take in 21 million a year and give nothing out to charity.

calls many times a day and then they block my caller ID so I can't bring up any of my calls.  Something needs to be done with these people because now there making a game of it.  Guess I'll take the number up to the police dept and see if anything can be done.  Maybe everyone else should try the same thing.

Call the number and listen to the message.  Enter 1, to listen to additional information.  At the end of the message it gives you an opportunity to remove your number.

They have numerous number.  Block all these scammers.

They called me at 8:12 am...it's the American Institute for Cancer Research it is not the American Cancer Society they want you to hit up your neighbors for money, like that will happen...

They called this morning.  He told me to go turn on my computer that my files were in danger.  I hung up.

Make them stop!! Very annoying. Why am I on the "Do Not Call" list?????

I did this a few days ago.  They were nice, said they'd put me on their do not call list, and today I've already had two calls from AICR from different numbers than before.  Charter will only let me block 12 numbers and won't even allow me to pay extra to block more callers.  Is there any other device that will allow me to block unwanted numbers?

These calls start at 8:00am until after 9:00pm several times a day and on week ends! It is to the point of harrasment!
I just signed up for the Do Not Call List AGAIN!
There has got to be a way to STOP these people!!

these people have been calling my house all weekend.  they do not leave messages and we won't answer.  STOP the calls idiot muslim jerks.  i personally like clicking the phone on then off on them.

They call continuously.  Don't answer.  Frequently change their numbers, but always 202 zone.

This number has call twice today.  can't be very important lets it ring and hangs up.
Have no clue who or what AICR is.  It's becoming a real pain!!!!!
