Freedoms Watch, wanting me to call a state senator regarding gas taxes.

Got you call about Kilroy. Because I do not like out of state telephone calls about in state politics, I have decided to vote for Kilroy.

Received a phone call about calling a U.S. Representive in Kansas.  I've contacted Freedom Watch twice before and asked them nicely to remove my number from their call list, and I guess they don't give a damn about my requests.  Time to get a law passed against these type of phone calls.

On 10/29/08, I received a recorded-message phone call from what my caller-ID showed as "XO ONE/FREEDO" at 202-379-3742.  The message knocked Lisa Brown, a Deomcratic candidate for the Michigan Legislature in my Oakland County MI district.  I suspect the message was financed by Amy Peterman, Lisa Brown's opposing Republican candidate.
   What a lucky coincidence for me, because I had just mailed Amy Peterman's committee a samll contribution check two days earlier, and my check hadn't cleared yet.  So I put a stop payment order on the check, and wrote a letter to the Amy Peterman committee telling them that I would not stand for my contribution being used to support recorded-message negative phone calls.

Somehow these guys think that I'll be interested in their message even after I've already complained twice about them calling. Not.

Ya, thanks for the message Freedom's Watch.  You just lost your candidate 2 votes.

Unfortunately, political "spam" calls are allowed, even when you are registered on the no call list.  Try getting a politician to vote for banning these calls...it just won't happen.  Thankfully I have an unlimited plan on my cell phone, otherwise Freedom Watch would be getting my next Verizon bill!!

Another call from Freedom's Watch slamming Colorado Congressional candidate Mark Udall.  They have called me a total of four times in the past two months.  I have called them and left two messages asking to be removed from their automated (or otherwise) phone list.  The first request was nice, the second I threatened legal action.  Today I filed a complaint with the Federal authorities against their damn a***s.  I hope they get fined all the way to the poor house.  Plus, their candidate just lost MY vote.  Screw them!
