The more I am pursued, the more I will run.  There is no Landmark survey service.  It is a bona fide scam.  The number they are using is 202-800-5529.  As soon as I fix my mouth to eat or go to bed, these persistent buffoons call.  I WISH I had a whistle to blow as loud as possible to get these folks off my back.  NO WONDER HOWARD HUgHES BECAME A HERMIT.

386-202-2151 calls and just hangs up. Anyone know anything? I was told it is a Deltona, FL or Daytona, FL area code. Thanks.

That's creepy - I've been getting calls for the past week too. I answered it the first time and just heard a few seconds of a female voice before it cut out. I haven't anwered it since but no messages have ever been left. Is it an automated number?

this number is calling and when i anwswer i get no response from the caller on the other end.  I want the calling from this number to stop.....

I have the same problem. I answered it and I got a female saying she has the wrong number. They are calling me at work.

I think it's the Washington Post.  They never leave a message from the202-386-6480 number.

This number calls me everyday and it is really annoying!

It calls me at least 4x daily. I called the number back and got a recording about it being a telemarketer firm. It said to leave your number and it would remove you from the list.

I just googled this number to see what it was and saw all of these comments.  This number calls me every single day and also has never left a message.  How annoying!  It also says Washington DC on the caller ID.

I am very upset now, I got phone call from this number every day. Very annoying!!

ok ---- i just called back and got a message stating
this a 'telemarketing marketing' stating they specialize in survey and fundraising.  supposedly you can leave your number (on their message) and they will remove it from the call list.

They call every single day, sometimes 3 or 4 timas and do not leve any message.

Yes you can block it. I have call block from Verizon & I can block any local number or long-distance number as long as the number shows up on call ID. I will call the Fricking Washington Post first, however, to see what they have to say about it.

Looks like they have gotten ahold of my number too. I got an auto attendant and they said it was a debt collection agency.

I called this number back and the recording said it was 'Landmark' a telesurvey company.  If you want your number removed, call the number and leave a message with your phone number.

We have been receiving 2-4 calls a day from 202-386-6480 as well and it's very annoying. Someone suggested to contact them and ask them to remove our phone number from their list, but I am not really sure if it's a good idea. I have been reading about spam emails and the experts suggest not using spammer's link to remove my email address from their list that this action assures them that I am actually using this email address and receiving emails. So, they can sell my email address as a "Live" address.

I have had my new phone number for only a week and have gotten several phone calls a day from 202-386-6480.  They call at random times, in the morning, afternoon and late at night.  They never leave a message.  I have put my number on the do not call registry (www.donotcall.gov), but that takes about a month before it is effective.  I called my phone service provider to see if they could block this number from calling me, and they told me no but referred me to the Direct Marketing Association website: http://www.dmachoice.org/

Since Sprint owns Nextel I don't think that is the problem...
