rec'd a call from Winston Sinclair - DC Lottery & Gaming Board. I won 2nd place in the Las Vegas Allure Sweepstakes. Put me on hold several times to answer calls from "Homeland Security", who, he said,
monitors all money transactions over $50,000.00. Took 2 days for him to tell me how much I won, (due to security monitoring). In order to receive my $450,000.00 prize (plus interest) I should send $450.00
which would be refunded. Uh-Uh.

kevin timms called said from publisher clearing house that i wone 1 million dollars. but pass prize patrol time due to i suposed to have gotten letter i didn't return so need tomaake arrangement for security deliver an wanted money. thus this is a scam.

My elderly Mom received a call from this guy, and called me to tell me that she won money. I Googled this number to check it out, because the elderly get scammed all of the time. She got mad at me at first till I read all of the notes from other individuals that received calls from this man. She is relieved that you kind people and Google saved her from making a huge mistake. I'll be making a complaint to the Do Not Call website.

Same think. Harrah's sweepstakes and Allure. Talked with him over three days knowing the hole time it was a scam but I'm unemployed so I decided to waste as much of his time as I could. The guyclaimed to be a lawyer from Federal Gaming Comission and needed $590 of my money to insure the check during transport. NINJA PLEASE! I wasn't born yesterday! Said his name was Tovy Hawkins. Sounded like Alfred Hitchcock with snobby Brittish accent.
