Just received a fax that claims to be from U.S. Department of Transportation Procurement Office.  It states that your office is listed as a prospective contractor for procurements listed by the U.S. Department of Transportation but you did not submit the financial information for your company.  It provides you with a nice form to list your bank, bank branch, bank account number, your tax ID number and places for 2 of your corporate officers to sign,  It also asks you to fax it back including your fax cover sheet.  

That would give the thieves all the information they need to clean you out!  

I went to the Department of Transportation website and it lists this as a scam.  If you did provide the information, call your bank immediately and tell them.  Also, the www.dot.gov website asks you to report the information to them so they can give the information to the Secret Service.
