I get two calls a day, finally installed an app to my smart phone and blocked the calls. The app is free: "Truecaller"

These people call me 2-3 times every day.  No message.  Very annoying.  The number listed in a previous message are the same ones that show up on my caller id.  Any one have any clue of why they call?

I also got the call, ID said ACLJ, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker.  www.digitone.com The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 855 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.

You need to buy one of these, you?ll like it.

These people call me 4 or 5 times a day.  I do not answer.   I forwarded all calls to my cell phone so I can silence the ringer if I do not know them.

Call received at 8:40PM.  I'm on DO NOT CALL LIST.  STOP NOW!!

Found 2 voice-mails from them (202-455-4704 & 202-540-0663) on my office line Monday morning, very random.  First was a muffled conv, details hard to hear but no reference to ACLJ.  Second was static and soft breathing.  Weird.

I get calls all the time from this number,  they never leave message so don't know what it is about.  But I am on the do not call list .  which does not see to mean anything to telemarketers.

I have recently received many calls from ACLJ 202-455-4707. I did not pick up the phone because I have nothing to do with them, they did not leave a message either. I have registered for DNC and don't know why I got these calls. It's very annoying. What's their purpose doing this???? Obviously people don't want to be called this way and won't support their cause even if they have a good purpose  to do that.

Just an FYI, if you read the FCC website for the Do Not Call List it specifically states what calls will not be stopped by being on the list.  The last one is "?calls by or on behalf of tax-exempt non-profit organizations"  That is what this organization is, thus you cannot stop their calls except to answer and get a human on the phone and tell them to take you off of their call list and calling them back and leaving a message will accomplish nothing.

These people call us all the time. When I tried to input their number into the complaints section of the Do Not Call registry, it says that the number can't be registered. They also call using 202-599-4945, 202-540-0663, and 202-470-2365. VERY annoying! Even if I believed in their cause, I would never support an organization that harrasses households as much as they do. Their incessant calls and then hang ups when you do answer the phone are invasive, disruptive and harrassing! I wish they could be stopped!

Someone called me from this number and did not say anything.. That is very rude. Please don't be playing games like this.

don't know how they got my work number. I do not answer the calls when I see it pop up on caller ID

This number calls my cell phone almost every day, never leaves a message.

Never anyone on other end.  They call several times a day.

These people call me every single day, for the last month!!!!!!  They are connected to Pat Roberts.  When you answer there is no one there..when you  call back, you get a recording that disconnects.  I am on the DNC registry and I have reported this number to the FCC...Looked them up on google..found a working number and left them a voice mail, they won't forget!!  I will call and leave them a voice message every single time they call me now!  See how they like it!!

How nice of them to call on Christmas Eve, but I don't think it was Santa calling.

I get this call about 4 times a day.  What a pain in the a***.  I don't want anyone from washington, d.c. to call me.  They're all Hobknockers!

We have received two calls just recently. When we answer they don't say anything, so we just hang up. We are also on the Don't Call List!

Received a call from that number with nothing but static noise.  I did not stay on long enough to see if someone would come on the line....Annoying.  I am also on the "Do not Call" list.

Received a call. Caller ID showed as Washington, DC. Answered to dead air. Finally a woman said "hello", I replied with "hello". She hung up. Called the number back and got a recording for that stated, "Thank you for calling American Center with Law and Justice. We will try to return your call within the next few days." Then it offered me several options to find out more about their orgainization. I hung up. I Googled the name American Center with Law and Justice in Washington, DC and developed they are listed as a constiutional and  human rights group. The next listing shows them as a conservative pro-life organization. The next listing shows them with immigration law. Whatever the case, we are on the "Do Not Call" list, so they are breaking the law by calling us. Do it again and I will report it to the FCC. Had to do it with a re-financing business that called us several times a day and they are in big trouble.
