You need to report this company. They are not supposed to have access to your medical records UNLESS you signed a release form to this company. This is a HIPPA violation. Health Information Privacy Portability Act of 1996 was enacted in order for ALL patients health records be kept CONFIDENTIAL.

Rang - I did not answer.  Caller seemed to leave a message but when I went to listen to it, the person just hung up the phone.

I texted "STOP" to the number to see if I get a reply back from Verizon that it is a landline.  No text back from Verizon, no reply from the caller.  Seems to be a cell phone.  I will not bother to call it.

I figured it out. If you redial the number and select "1" it will connect you to a live operator.
It's a center doing an arthritis study. I say a everyone simply call them back, get the live operator and RIP on her/him. If enough of us do it they'll get the message.

left a voicemail on my phone asking me if I suffered from Arthritis.  I did not call back.  Rec'd 2 other calls from same #, but no voicemail was left.

Why do we bother to put our phone numbers on the "Do Not Call" list?  I get so tired of these calls!

I am not 100% sure what these people (that is an overstatement) called about since I refuse to answer and allowed the answering machine to take it.

Acurian medical research called from Washington D.C. to tell me that I qualified for a medical study in my area about erectile and male/female orgasm enhancing medications. I was told by Shelly that her company got my medical records on line and saw that me and my significant others were having arousal and climax problems. My others are another man and one woman. I thought that medical records were confidential. She went on to offer me/us a total of $3,000. for all of us to enroll in the study. I said that I would talk to the others but I doubt that they would join in. Shelly said she would call me back during the week. I put 202-459-0996 in my phone's call blocker. I hope it works.

This number keeps calling me and leaving blank vms. comcast probably sold them my number.

Yep, got the same annoying call, too.  It is for arthritis research.  I told them to tell their boss to not call me any more.  I see an ad on TV from a lawyer saying that these calls are nuisance calls to cell phones and can be prosecuted for $500.00 + per call.  I am going to put on ignore from now on, but they shouldn't even dial our numbers.

Called me today on my cell. Computerized call starting with "Have you or any of you loved ones been diagnosed with ---" I hung up there.

Just had a call which I let ring.

Got the call from Auto dialer telemarketer asking about being diagnosed with athritis...could be compensated up to $1300. because of a doctor in the area doing trials.

Called the Number back and there was a person that I spoke with.
They "Said" they got my phone # from a Survey or a 3rd party that I signed up to recieve more information.
BS to that. I suspect that they are robo dialing anyone.

They are just the group that get people pointed to DR.s offices that are trying out  a new Medication.  

Personally, I would not be a ginny pig to these folks.

For clinical trials there are other Legal ways to get people to help out, not robo calling.

This number called my cell phone. Caller ID shos DC, USA for location. I didn't answer and it left a 2 second blank VM. I also am registered on the DoNotCall list for both landline and cell phones. How do these calls get past these lists? Guess they are robo-calling and just generating numbers as they can. Reverse phone look up showed it's an XO Communications landline from Washington, DC.

Called by this number. Not the 1st time.  No voice mail.  I too am registered on Do Not Call, which seems to be a database for telephone marketing companies.  I've been receiving more calls since I registered.

Part of their recorded speil ended up on VM - it said press some number to opt out of the study.  Where did these POSs get my cell phone number?  My cell phone is registered on the Federal and State Do Not Call lists.
