Someone calls from the 202-459-6101 and claims to be an IRS person. He then threatens you to get you arrested if S/He does not pay 2500 as the Tax money. He then said that the authorities will arrest you unless the person pay the money.  It is a scam..

This idiot call me too pretending a tax collector and a crime investigator. He asked if I am willing to settle, I asked him how much do I owe and if he may provide information that was on my tax record. He hang up and run, I wish there was a way to trap him.

This guy tried to tell us we owed back taxed and tole me "not to lie" when he asked if I had been arrested before. When i told him I had not idea who he was, he hung up. The police won't do anything, but I am reporting them to the IRS and he is impersonating an IRS investgator.

Same here. Person with a heavy accent. They have called a few months earlier too and I mistakenly ended up calling them back believing them. When I called, the person gave a totally different name when I asked them to repeat their name. When I asked for the case details they never gave any and just kept trying to scare me. I told them to get lost and hung up.

Didn't recognize the number so I let it go to message. Someone with an accent said he was going to make a record that this was the second time he called me about my "federal case" and that I should call him back if I want to "keep my rights." He ended the message with "God Bless" as if that would get me to call back. Left no name or company name or what the supposed "federal case" was!
