202-459-7429  repeated calls to my number . do not know caller.

this number calls me repeatedly late at night, often at 10 or 11pm! i never answer and they never leave a voicemail. it's incredibly rude to call that late, especially with no message identifying them. i'm getting it blocked. i have no idea how they got my number i've never donated to some law firm or anything!

Callina early, early in mornings. Maybe ACLJ, dont know dont care. Just want them to stop calling me.

I get calls from this number all the time. They called me yesterday and today.  Today was at 8:10 am and woke me up! I am retired! I thought these calls aren't supposed to happen until 9am! I guess when I didn't answer at 4:23 pm yesterday they wanted to make sure I was home!  I went online and found this website and called the number to remove myself from their call list - even though I, too, am on the No Call List!!!!

It may be No Big Deal for some, but a call like this coming in at 9pm at night disturbing the house hold
does not fly with me. Besides: the folks in the NE and on Capitol Hill already get more money each day
than I could qualify for in a month or so. Being on a DNC list does no good as these people use banks of numbers and pay no attention to any DNC entry. Just don't answer the phone. If the caller is genuinely needing your attention they will leave a message or send a certified letter.

This number continues to call me and leaves no message and I want it to stop

Every afternoon I get unwanted calls from 202-459-9010 says Washington D.C on caller I.D. I have never ever wanted to talk to them and want calls to stop.

This is not a scam #  Its just someone [ACLJ] asking for donations. I called the # myself - its really NO BIG DEAL!

I so wish that political entities and non-profits would have to follow the DO NOT CALL LIST.
They are EXEMPT.  So charities and political groups can harass you from now until the day you die!
The only way I have gotten political entities to quit calling my house is to issue the following threat to both political parties:

"If you don't quit calling my house, not only will I never vote for your political candidate again, I'll be giving money to the next caller that calls me from your opposing party."

Getting a lot of calls saying Washington DC. Up to 5 or 6 a day, so I listened this time just to hear what they had to say. Collecting funds for somebody they said I had given before (false) so they asked if maybe if I was married my husband had given before I said no. I told caller I didn't know what she was talking about and I flustered her. So then she asked if I wanted to know more in which I said no again. Flustered her again. and she finally said thank you for taking her call to have a nice day.

I'm getting calls at all hours of the day...this needs to stop!

Many calls from this number and they disconnect as soon as the message starts.
The DO NOT CALL list is a JOKE!
Does anyone know how to stop these calls?????

THEN MY HUSBAND SAID HELLO A LITTLE LOUDER AND THEY ASKED FOR ME - HIS WIFE - BY FIRST NAME BECAUSE I'VE SIGNED PETITIONS ONLINE REGARDING ISSUES I STRONGLY BELIEVE IN.  MY HUSBAND ASKED WHO'S CALLING AND SHE SAID HER NAME AND HE SAID "I DON'T KNOW YOU" AND THEN SHE FINALLY SAID THE ORGANIZATION SHE'S WITH.

I DON'T RECALL GIVING MY PHONE NUMBER ON ANY PETITION I'VE SIGNED BECAUSE IF THEY DO ASK FOR IT - I WON'T SIGN THE PETITION.

SHE CAME ON PRETTY STRONG ASKING FOR CONTRIBUTIONS BUT SAID WE'VE GOT OTHER AREAS WHERE WE GIVE AND WON'T GIVE NOW...SHE SAID ANY AMOUNT YOU CAN SEND WILL BE HELPFUL ... ALTHOUGH WE BELIEVE STRONGLY IN ACLJ AND THE AMAZING WORK THAT MR. SEKULOW DOES - PLEASE TAKE OUR NO FOR AN ANSWER FOR NOW.  IN THE FUTURE WE MIGHT SEND SOMETHING IN TO SUPPORT CAUSES WE CARE ABOUT ... BUT PLEASE RESPECT OUR NO.

Try talking politely to them, this is one of the greatest greatest set of attorneys in the world they protect our rights granted us in the constitution. They are here to protect us from our own government who loves to violate the constitution. Try being nice to them.

202-459-9010 will not stop calling.

If you ever donate to these people, they will never give up call, even after years.

I receive calls everyday from this number, along with various other unknown numbers which I don't answer.

I have heard that if you answer the phone after a couple of rings, hold it for a second and hang up, it knocks your phone number out of their computer call rotation.   That's what I started doing a few days ago.  We'll see if it works.

I called another number (800-296-4529) linked to the ACLJ and the person who responded, "Martin," said that he could remove me from the call list. He asked for my name, which I said I did not want to give, so he said a number would work as well. Two days later, the calls started again. I then found out that they are able to get away with it because they are not for profit. That is, unless you ask them to stop, keep a record of calls you've made to them  and they've made to you (dates, names, times, what was said, etc.), and they continue to call. If that is the case, you can submit your information to the FTC and send them a nice $16,000 fine, per person. Hope their harassment was worth the bill.

ACLJ seems likely to be calling me, too. I have not donated to them in years, and now these fundraising calls make me regret ever donating to the ACLJ.

QUIT CALLING!!!!!!!!!! I'm not answering.....

I GET A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER DAILY AT LEAST 2-3 TIMES.  I AM SICK OF IT. PLEASE PUT A STOP TO IT OR DO I HAVE TO HAVE MY NUMBER CHANGED ALTOGETHER.

A new thing being done now is making harassing phone calls but spoofing the calling number.  Our one call system that we use is based out Washington State but will spoof our number out so that the people we call know that it is from us.  This could be the case here as I'm sure the ACLJ has people who would like to cause them trouble like there are those who like causing the ACLU trouble.

So yeah I started getting calls from this number too. First time I ignored it. Last three times I have picked up and they immediately hang up. Like I don't even hear anyone for a second after hitting accept call. It's just call ended the moment I answer. What kind of sketch organization does this?

They are calling my number 2 or 3 times a day.......sounds like a telemarketer......I am on the "Do not call list' But they still keep calling............
