This is the 2nd phone call. I don't know these people. I didn't answer, but when I called the number back, it didn't ring. I just got a busy signal.

It would be nice if the illegal dialer would restrict its calls to DC.

I BELIEVE THIS NUMBER IS RESERVED FOR ELECTED CONGRESSMEN IN DC TO TAKE POLLS OF THEIR CONSTITUENTS IN THEIR HOME DISTRICTS.  HOWEVER I DON'T KNOW WHY MANY TIMES THERE IS NO ONE ON THE LINE.  

PROBABLY A SERVICE THAT GETS OUR TAX DOLLARS WHETHER POLLS ARE ACTUALLY CONDUCTED OR NOT.  IT WOULD MAKE SENSE.

This is the third time i have recieved a call from this number and it asks if I am a registerd voter.  This is getting vary old!!!!!!!!!

When I tried to call back this number nothing happens. It does not connect to anything and then eventually a rapid busy signal. What horrible horrible people.

The message left was that this was a "constituent" call, must be a maggot politician.

Calling me at a 512 area code???  Why are they wasting my time (and Pay-as-you-go funds)?

202 461 3442 is a number "owned" by the communications company PAETEC. You can call PAETEC at 212 201 5000, ask for customer service. Give them the 202 number and your number that is being called; PAETEC will contact their customer to whom PAETEC has assigned the telephone number via email and get your number deleted.

The number 202 461 3442, to my knowledge today is being used by a company CC Advertising (703 234 2200); CC Advertising is being contracted by various folks, including Texas Rep. Lamar Smith (202 225 4236) For example, Rep. Smith's office admitted they are conducting a survey using CC Advertising and that the use of CC Advertising is being paid for by taxpayers.

If CC Advertising is being used by an elected official, I cannot claim a violation of the "Do Not Call List."  I will file a complaint about the use of public funds to call folks outside of one's district.  If you have received a marketing call from an entity with which you do not have a prior relationship and you are on the "Do Not Call List," file an FCC complaint and call PAETEC as well.  They need to take responsibility for the complaints they have been receiving regarding this telephone number.

If you cannot get PAETEC's customer service rep to help, call Ms. Donna Wenk, VP, Customr Care for PAETEC and complain.  Her number is 212 201 5000.  Leave a message about the 202 number and the number of yours being dialed.  If it is Lamar Smith's office that is using CC Advertizing, also call Lamar Smith's office at 512 306 0439 and call Rep. Smith's Legislative Director, Geraldo Interinao at 202 225 4236.  If you do not live in Rep. Smith's office, please file a complaint because he is using taxpayer funds to call his constituents; if you aren't a constituent and have been called, the OCE can look into a complaint (202 225 9739).  Take a look at what CC Advertising, the company that is calling you says on its website; I've copied it below because they market to legislators and use your cell phone without your permission:
