this phone number keeps calling my mother and telling her she has won the lotto and he needs her citicard to complete the deposit of large winnings into her account.Of coures this is a scam but try and convince your 91 yr. old mother wqho believes the stranger on the phone over her sons or citicard fraud people.

I just received a call from this number.  No message was left.  When I call the number back, it is either busy or just rings up until a message comes on saying "The party you are trying to reach is not answering.  Please try your call again later."

This number called my house 4 times today.  Everytime I call it, I get a busy signal.

They have called 3 times today. An automated message was left on my voicemail stating, "This is a public survey call. We may call back."

This number called our house about 15 minutes ago.  When my husband answered the phone, no one said anything.

I received a call from this number at 10:16 a.m. on 7-15-2009 and received other call from this number during the evening with no messages left during the previous calls.  This last call was a recorded message from Sue Myrick, a Republican Congresswoman representing North Carolina.  The message stated she wanted to get my opinion on different topics and might call back again.  I wish these recorded calls would quit bothering me.

I just received a call about 10 minutes ago.  When I called the number, I let the phone ring for at least 15 times; and there was no answer.

Have gotten a number of calls in the past week from this number.  It always leaves the same voice mail message... "This is a public survey call, we may try to contact you later".  I can't sing high-enough praises for "Caller Block" on our phone service.  I programmed this number in and have had no more contact from them.

I realize it would harm legitimate non-profit organizations, but I so wish PAC's did not have the right to disregard the Do Not Call list.  I got a "public survey" call a while back that started out asking a few simple questions, but then began leading me to try and get me to answer in favor of whoever had hired them (in that particular case, Mary Jo Kilroy, Ohio's lousy representative in Washington).  If you are a legitimate pollster, then I'll gladly answer your questions, but don't use it as a disguise to get support for your latest doings in DC. I lose all respect for people who try and disguise what they really want to accomplish.

Received several calls from this number over the past few days. There is no one on the line when I answer. When I try to call back the line is busy.

I am tired of having messages on my voicemail from FEDRSRCH09. They say that this is a political survey call and they may call back again. I have tried to call their # and demand that they remove me from their call list, but it's no answer or a busy signal. I will gladly sign any petition that will make these calls illegal and/or require them to have an 800 number to enable victims to have their phone number removed from their lists.

most likely the number you have described has been triggered by something you were looking at on the internet.their are sites that trigger these calls they could be looking to hear the voice of who is speaking or tracking and monitoring what you are doing.most likely this is a federal search operation or someone with the smarts to set up a phone number to get you to think that it is. they are not hiding there number so they are not hiding the identity that they want to be known as.

Answered the phone without looking at caller ID. Uh oh. Automated voice said it was a survey about "access to utilities." First it asked if I had cable TV. I said, "No." Then it asked if I had high-speed internet. I said, "I don't know who you are," and hung up. It struck me that the questions they were asking were basically, "What expensive stuff do you have at your house that we could rip off?"

I will report this to the Do Not Call Registry. This was surely not non-profit.

I had the same # call and had a automated voice ask a series of questions all of which were knocking the President and his policies.  I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Site.  I found a Newspaper Article which says it is MIKE HUCKABEE'S political organization. Exact caller ID information varies with some showing ?Washington, DC? while other show ?Fedrsrch09? or ?unknown.? The number listed remains consistent as 202-461-3454. "Although no further details are yet available about who owns this auto-dial service, it does appear to be a different company than the one Huckabee used to phone Iowans in November 2008."

Here we go again.  I started receiving their calls yesterday and it's at one a day.  I'm putting them on by blocked caller list immediately.

I got an automated Republican push-poll from this number an hour ago.
"Are you pro-life yes or no"

It's Mike Huckabee doing a push poll to defame Obama.  Why is he calling me, I'm a Democrat?  Is there any way to opt out?

Received a call from this number while I was out. After seeing several sites complaining about calls from this number I reported it to the FTC. Their is a complaint form on the Do Not Call registery site, https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2. Takes just a few minutes to complete.

I started receiving calls from this company tonight. Wasn't home so googled to find out who or what they are and came across this site.  I've repoted them to the FTC. I included a few of your comments (without names) and provided this website address so the FTC can read them all if they decide to.

Call from allegedly Mike Huckabee asking if I would take an (automated) survey which turned out to be pro-life. I am pro-life, but the survey went on and on and was obviously leading up to a request for a donation. I answered one of these several months ago, and was inundated by pro-life groups wanting money. "Even ten dollars will help"!!! Don't believe in this way of doing business and since half my family is unemployed, they struck out. I am so very sorry I answered this call which will start them back up again.

I called the number back to complain about their political calls and got a sales pitch from someone saying they represented ADT and could get me a free upgrade worth $850!  I called ADT corporate and they said they didn't authorize any calls.  They think it's fishy.

I believe it's an identity theft scam using a political recording as a cover.  They will try to get your credit card info so they can max  it out.

same thing as the rest rings and rings when i call back.  Annoying at best wish they wouldn't call ... I say we ask for their home numbers and offer to call them back at home during their dinner time *lol*

I have gotten 5 calls as of 2:30 today. Never saw this number before today.

Automated caller asked a loaded question about Obama's nominee to the Supreme Court. Something to the effect "Do you want a candidate for the Supreme Court that is against family values?" Yes or No. I hung up.

Okay this number keeps calling me and i dont's answer. Also what else is really funny is that a wirless number with the same area code also keeps calling. 202-607-2746 this according to a reverse look up of the number is a Washington DC wireless number. Who are these people?
