I am like all of these others that are annoyed by all of the annoying calls we are getting.  They won't even let you tell them to stop calling this number. The absolute worse are the political calls and we should be allowed to send their numbers into the "Do Not Call" list.

I just got a call which I will add to my block list.  I will now get no ring but will get a list of blocked calls on my phone.
I have the Panasonic cordless telephone  Model kx-tg6842b (2 handsets)
You can block 250 numbers plus kill the one ring that existed on earlier models that only allowed 30 blocked numbers.  If other phone models are connected you will still get the first ring on them.
The one handset model sells for $70 at Amazon.

Got a msg on the answering machine on Jan 12,2014 from prayer alert.  Newt Gingrich comes on, talking about his fears for the state of the nation.  Wonder if our phone no. got added to this list because we asked Citizens United to remove us from their list?  Have also recv'd several calls from 816-482-3222.  No msg-may be a PAC.

I'm a religious guy, but I prefer to pray when I'm awake.  8 am is a little early to be calling a stranger.

We, too, have been getting these calls numerous times a day.  Unlike other posts, this has been going on for MONTHS, not weeks!  We do not answer, and to my knowledge, have never donated, so they must be robo-calls!  Will not answer, will not ask to be put on "do not call" list, because all that does is give them a valid number to be called by someone else!  We get "tons" of calls similar to this, from "supposed" collection agencies, to the NRA, to"politics" calls, and who knows what else!  Do not answer ANY of them now, and do not plan to in the future.  If this is what the money they collect goes to support, it's a sad state of affairs, but we do not see any reason to become a part of it!

This number calls us a lot and after reading the above entries, I tried to call it back to be removed.  Option 3 the lady's voice says, "Please enter  your 10 digit phone number".  I did it and then a man's voice says, "Your entry is invalid".  So I tried again to make sure I had not slipped up on the number (fat fingers) and it says it again.  Then tried to hit 0 for operator and it does nothing.  The only thing then to do is to answer the phone when next they call and get a person on the line.

I have been getting calls from this number 202-461-3478 everyday for several weeks now.  I don't answer because my caller ID says it is from PRAYER ALERT.  They never leave a message.  I also get one from 202-630-9953 which my caller ID says is from Faith Prayer.  Probably the same scammers.  Whatever happened to the DO NOT CALL list?  This is very annoying.  I've had enough and taking my land line out.  They will probably start calling my cellphone.  You cannot win.

I get calls from this number nearly daily. Caller ID says "anonymous". I'm on the do not call list so we see how well this works!

This number, organization, is calling our home phone 3 or 4 times a day.  Please take us off their telephone calling list.  
We are praying people, but do not need to have these people calling us about prayer.  We work through our home church for ministry to others and with our giving. We WILL NOT GIVE to other organizations.

The national donot call list is a joke. I tried sometime back to turn in some one who was calling but the paper work and the proces you have to go through is outrageous This 2024613478 woul call every morning at 8:00 am I called the number back and pushed 3 to get off their list. I hope it work

Just received my first call from this number tonight. I.D. said Prayer Alert.
I am so tired of getting all these calls from people I don't associate with in any way. I get rid of one and get two new ones calling.Very annoying.

I answered the call, they are a collection agency.

This is an organization associated with Mike Huckabee which goes by the name of National Committee for Faith Family & Prayer.  I don't know about you guys, but they've been calling here nonstop for the past week or so.

What's their strategy here? Do they think if they drive me stark raving crazy by relentlessly calling me it will bring my family closer together by forcing them to pray that they won't have to have me committed to the loony bin?

Well, it's working.

To get your number off of their list of designated telephone harassment victims, you have to call 1 800 872 0811. Press 3 to skip their marketing spiel and enter your 10 digit number. But I guess we'll still have to have "faith" and  "pray" that they'll honor all requests to stop being so obnoxiously annoying, won't we.

I wish I could find out what other non-profit org. it was I donated to that betrayed me by selling my phone number to other outfits like this. Never again will they see another penny.

We just received a call (yet again) for this idiot company. I answered on the second ring. I said "hello?" waited 20 seconds, said "hello??" again and I hear them pick up the phone and hang it up immediately. What a joke. I was going to tell them to put this number on their do not call list. UGH!!

I received a call from "Prayer Alert" also.  I called the number back and it was from the National Committee for Family, Faith and Prayer.  If you don't want to receive anymore calls from them, call the number back and use option 3 to "opt out" of receiving anymore calls.
