They called at 2:45pm on a Tuesday.

I called back after-hours (using a temporary-issue work cell phone) and got a "please hold while your call is transferred" message, followed by hold music. After 10 or 15 seconds, a message said the "voicemail box is full and cannot accept messages at this time."

I just got a call as well, a few months ago they tried to threaten me by sueing me to pay back a credit card, I too have not worked more than 15 hours at most a week.. unemployment gets ya if you want to better yourself for going to school, and the economy is so bad I can't even afford school clothes for my kids. these people have put me in the hole with there surprise % hikes three cards at once. I can't even afford to move to a two bedroom place as we are crammed into a one b/r which I guess is a lot better than the people and sometimes families I see down town in tent city. these people who called left a robo message  saying that by the government something, extent of the law something... scare tactics... not working on me anymore, I too am over feeling threatened and guilty for not paying back my small debts while those who run the system are on vacation in the Hamptons or where ever they can afford to enjoy.

Debt Collector
I spoke to a guy at 202-465-4271.  He refused to id himself or the company he was calling from.  He claimed that a forceable debt collection act was being pursued against me.  I said for what, You're wasting my time.  He said I had a credit card with FCNB bank ( I never did).  I told him that I never had & that the last time someone from his company called, I did my research.  I pulled out my spiral notebook & tried to tell him what I'd found out.  He repeatedly interrupted me & told me that they were going to pursue legal action against me.  I told him I spoke to a Natasha at FCNB & she used my whole SSN, 3 old phone numbers plus my cell phone which hasn't changed in 15 years.  She found no record of me ever having an account with FCNB.  She said she'd turn this information over to her supervisor, Michelle, & would have her further research this matter.  Michelle had access to their old data base that Natasha didn't have.  He interrupted me again & said so what.  I told him he was being rude & disrespectful & to please shut up for a few moments to give me a chance to finish.  He said I had one minute & was timing me.  I told him that Michelle called me back 3 days later & told me she used every resource available to her at FCNB as well as used the old data base to access anything related to my information.  There was never an account taken out with FCNB bank in my name with my SSN or any of the phone numbers provided.  He said well she's a liar & they were going to pursue legal action.  I told him you can't because this is false collection practices.  He hung up on me.

I called back the number that came up on my caller id, which is a Washington DC based phone number.  I got a Jacob Thompson on the phone who was more than happy to give up the company name & his name.  He said the company was DRS, but refused to say what kind of company they were.  A quick Google of the phone number led me to this site once again.  I told him the same things I'd told the last idiot who called, but didn't say those words.  Jacob kept interrupting me, calling me a liar, a fraud, a w***e, & worse.  I told him he needed to shut up for about 10 minutes so I could finish what I had to say.  He told me You don't call my company & tell me to shut up.  I said I just did.  I said you're not the company owner either so you can't tell me what to do.  I told him that his company needed to cease & desist with all contact to me & cited the Fair Credit info above to him.  He told me he was very well schooled with that information.  I told him if that was true, then he had to input the info into the computer immediately or legal action would be taken against him & the company he worked for.  He called me a bi***, the C word & that he'd call me at all hours of the day & night.  I told him that was against the law & he'd wind up in jail.   He called me a c*** again then hung up on me.

A phone call to the Washington DC PD wasn't fruitful.  They've had several people call to report this company & their employees.  A conferrence call was made to the company & the officer spoke to a Danny Michaels.  An arguement ensused from Danny that they had the right to call whomever they wanted, whenver they wanted.  The police officer told him that they were tired of the calls of complaint against DRS & to stop all phone calls to anyone who's asked.  Danny called him an a***ole & hung up.  Without a physical address in DC, the police told me that they couldn't really do much else.

I have sent multiple letters to this company's address listed above.  Yet they continue to call.  I've spoken to 5 different attornies who all say that until something is actually filed against me & I receive something in the mail, nothing can be done.  One attorney did tell me that this company's flirting on the edges of bad collection practices.

Further complaints to the BBB in South Carolina & the FTC haven't done much either.  Both were none to happy to hear yet another complaint against DRS.  It's obvious they're not doing their jobs to shut them down.

This number showed up on my phone - I let it go to voicemail.  The message said it was extremely important for (the person they were looking for) to call back.  No company name; no reference number; and no explanation as to why they're calling. They left 888-847-1910 as the call back number.  I will be blocking both of these numbers.  Don't call - sounds very fishy to me!

202-465-4271..called here at 10:00am today....thye call about once a month but don't always leave a message. I blocked my number and called back and a "Mr. Thompson" answered. I did not confirm my phone number and refused when he asked, just told him I was filing a complaint with the FCC and reporting his business's number as harrassment. Also filing a complaint with the BBB in DC and South Carolina. This company never leaves a name of who they are looking for, nor do they have any legitimate reason to contact me. Enough is enough already...SCUMBAGS..

I keep getting calls from these dirtbags.  Asking for Irish Hidalgo.  For three freaking years?    I tell them that this number is not hers, don't know her.  Sometimes folks get nasty with me and hang up.  Not a class act, for sure.   After three years, most creditors would figure the trail is cold and find another angle.  It is puzzling that they would waste time like this.

These dopes are trying to collect a debt I owe on my credit cards. I haven't worked since 2008 so they're not gonna see any money from me. Let's review some history: The Financial, Insurance and Wall Street giants gamed the system with their sub prime mortgages, fake bond ratings and credit default swaps and destroyed the American economy while making fortunes that have never been seen in history. All these people were rewarded for destroying the American economy with lavish bonuses and vacations. Later they received trillions of dollars of TARP money...

Now that they have financially ruined the working class, they now want us to pay them back the money we owe them...

I am *so* over feeling bad or ashamed about any debts I have.  I have just witnessed these crooks participate in the largest redistribution of wealth from the lower classes to the upper classes.  These banksters are worthy of our contempt and I will never give them a penny.

We are the righteous, they are the scum of the earth.

They were looking for a person who had my phone number OVER 6 YEARS AGO, and owes someone money. I' ve had this call many times from many different companies. When I tried to expain this to the man on the phone, he just hung up.  I called back, and was told that my number, mind you, the SAME NUMBER they just called 30 seconds earlier, was not in their system. BTW, this all happened at 8:05 AM.

I also got the robo message from these people.  Not just me, but my girlfriend as well, but trying to contact me.  It's kind of weird that we got this because the only bills we have that tie together would be our cell phone bill and vehicle bills.  Both of these are current and paid on time every month.  There's no other valid reason why a creditor could call both me and then immediately later, my g/f.

Oh, in case anyone's wondering, Greenville, SC's area code is 864.  202 is Washington, DC.

This is great info, thank you! i recvd a call from these peeps using 2024654271 from a "Mr. King", who did not identify whom he was calling for nor the name of his company. You could hear all kinds of noise & other calls in the background, definitely some kind of calling center. I checked into this Dynamic Recovery Solutions & they appear to specialize in credit card, auto loan, medical bill debt, all of which I have none of.

I have been receiving robo calls for about 3 months from various and changing numbers asking to speak to Julian Hall. The press 1 if you are Julian Hall, press 2 if you are not Julian Hall, and press 3 if Julian Hall is not at this number. Previously, I have been choosing option 3.

This time, I did not press anything and got connected to a live person. I told the rep I had never heard the name, except from their robo call message. I said to google the number they were calling and they would see it was not Julian Hall.

I asked the name of the company and was told DRS. I asked the purpose of the call and no answer was provided. The live person said they would take this number off the list.

However, if they call again, I have a surprise. I am going to press 1 and find out what they want from Julian Hall. If it is money, I will tell them to meet me downtown around midnight on the next Sunday to collect. Screw these people.

It is only illegal to lie to law enforcement or the courts, not some a***ole that has the wrong phone number.
