Received a missed call from this number, ssaying I qualified for government grants worth up to 50,000 dollars. I called the number back to inquire more, I guy saying his name was Gary Blackburn with a "heavy middle eastern accent " said that I immediately qualified for 3,000 and that I would speak with another official in a higher department that could possibly assist in getting me up to 45,000 more. I asked a number of question like what was his ID number and managers name. He spoke very fast and rambled 6 quick numbers and another American name, but all I could hear in the back was other middle eastern accents. He quickly reitterated that he was an official agent of the department of Gov Grants and wanted the last 4 numbers of my social, or my drivers license number. I told him hell no, if this was true, the department of government grants would need to send me official information via mail with means to verify everything. Dude got really irratted and tries to go back into his spill of being officially with the grants department and only needing the last four of the social for my protection! I told him I would call him back and immediately did some research, which lead me here. People its a scam.. dont be fooled, if it sounds to good it is!! Asking question can save you alot of headach.

they got over on me and im very upset but I tracked down the people and im going handle mine.

They caught me I closed my acount but I thingk they know my social security I pray that they dont thief my identity.but I didnt give them my acount or routing number. But yh its a scam.but I am goin to make sure they get caught

i lost $400 from this s***. sandra said she was from the government grant department andI was going to get a $50000 grant for paying taxes and for not having a criminal record. i gave her my bank acct number. she then said i had to pay $250 to get 5000 and 45,000 credited into my acct... i wired it through moneygram and she said that i had to western union it. so i sent 110 more. bi*** got over on me

She called me saying she was giving government grant money, I wanna know if this is a scam or true!

Sandra called me, said she was from the government grant department..I was going to get a $50000 grant for paying taxes and for not having a criminal record..I had to give her my bank card information..she told me that I would have $50000 in my account by the next morning and that some would call me today to confirm. At the point I had to give a checking, saving, or bank card number I refused and she was pressuring for a number I put her on hold to research this she hung up on me and called back saying we were disconnected. She pickedup right where she left off. After reading many calls like mine I had to block the number (so glad my phone allows that)

this number is a church and is scaming on gov grants do not give them info

Did not pick up and did not leave a message.  Don't know anyone from dc area.

What do you mean?? I got a call about some grants I signed up for and she got all of my debit card information, I called back its a cell phone and I got NO answer
