I got this call. The number is 202 470 3185. This is a scam do not answer the number 218 319 7254

i did just gat the call at 12 30

Actually the name of person that I was to call was Julianna Elson instead of Breanna Elson.  There was a difficulty in understanding the person on the other end of the phone because of a language barrier.  He definately was not an American and called from 206-319-4400 which is not a Washington D.C. area code because 202 is the area proper area code.  206 is a Michigan area code and he said that he was calling from Washington D.C., that was a lie right there and should have been a red flag.  Beward of those calls that come from 206 and they say that they are calling from Washington D.C.

I just received a call from a man that I could hardly understand.  He wanted my bank information and ask if I had filed for bankruptcy in the last six months, verified my address, phone number, current on my taxes.  He told me that I was selected for the money that does not have to paid back.  I questioned him about this being a scam and he got rather upset about it.  He gave me a phone number 202-470-0793 to call and ask for Breanna Elson along with a confirmation number because she will need it to release the funds.  I decided to check into this online before going any further with this.  The part that concerns me is the fact that they have my banking information because he was so pushy.

Someone called me stating they were from the Department of Treasury, that I've been chosen for a $9,200.00 Grant, but listen to this the only way I could receive it is to western union her $140.00 for a homeless shelter. I really believe its a scam. Could anybody tell me if they received the same call and who are they really?

I really thought that I was going to get help because I work my butt off and then this happens, they changed the numbers though its now 202-470-6711 and the name is Jennifer Watkins, and the other number they used was 206-319-4400 and the guy goes by Jason

Wow same thing happen to me, i talked to the guy at the bank. Our conversation got a little heated. He even threatend me. I also sent 140 dollars via western union, to vietnam. Man im such a sucker. Wont do it again though.

This Is A SCAM. I can't believe I fell for this thumb stuff. I should of know from the beginning when I was contacted by one man at 206-319-4400 then I had to call another number soons we hang up at 202-470-0793 when she told me to go to western union with 140 to wire to them and make sure I have a extra 6 dollars for the western fee they charge. When I got there she told me to send the money to Vietnam to a person name Xam Thi Kim Dao. That right there should of woke me up but she was so anxious to move on with the process. The mane in western union asked me was this a loan and she told me to say no its personal. smdh, when everything was completed she then said call another number that was suppose to be the federal reserve bank in newyork at 646-397-9911. A man name nick freeman answer an ask for my conformation number and that the funds will be in my account by midnight. I call him back to tell him I wasn't to sure about this because the federal reserve bank in New york area code is 212 then he put me on hold, when he came back on he said look why would i be scamming you, U can come here and ask for me Nick Freeman i am the manger. When he said that I just shook my head and said I Been SCAMMED. Never again It's sad how random people could get a hold of your personal information Burn under ground the three of you

i got the same thing as well has anyone donated to this to see if its real, i know its to good to be true.im in TX i have beenin jail within the last year so how could this be real

Call from company saying I was given a grant for 9200 to use for moral purposes gave me a confirmaton number and different number to call and talk to Breanna Elson 2024700793 at US Treasury Dept and said money is through  3rd World Regional Bank of NY said need to call from Western Union and they would give me the numbers that I need to wire the gift of 140 to to donate to a 3rd World Country

Its a scam. Says the government is offering you a grant. If you donate a $100 to third world countries. You are told you do not have to pay it back and you were randomly selected for $9200 grant which you do not have to pay back. You met the qualifications because you have not been arrested or filed for bankruptcy in the last 12 mos. You are given a confirmation number and another phone number to confirm the transaction. You are told you need to speak with a Julianna Ellison.
