I received the same phone call from Robert Dixon DIC kson who said he is from the Las Vegas dream  foundation. I won 2nd prize of 350,000 he gave me a file case number and a phone number to call which was (702) 628-9586 also gave me the name of James cartright and underwriter for the Lloyds of America company. He gave me his phone number of 646-442-4727.  after reading these reports I guess this is a scam as well.

Same story - Had a voice mail from Robert Galloway looking for an M. Dobson.  Said he was from the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC 202-609-7064.  Called back and spoke with Steven Franklin who explained the FTC is tasked with notifying sweepstakes winners who didn't respond to their winning notice.  Claimed I'd entered the publishers clearing house sweepstakes 50 times over the last 10 years (completely untrue).  Said the sweepstakes was run by Las Vegas Dream Foundation and I needed to call Lloyds Insurance of America with claim #CFL8611-07 at 646-432-5488 as they would insure my check for $350,000.
I called the real Federal Trade Commission and reported them.  The woman at the FTC assured me the FTC is not tasked with notifying sweepstakes winners about unclaimed prizes.

The almost exact thing happened to me. It was first a call from the Federal Trade Commission stating that I won $ 350,000.00 and to call Lloyds of London America. I needed a insurance policy to get the money. It was either a 3% sum at $ 3,500.00 or 1% at $ 1,750.00   WOW ! !  Told a friend, and he said that it was a scam, and I saw proof he was right. I am 60, and unemployed so I don't even have any income. Glad I read all of this.  Thank you !!!!!

Said his name was Richard Owen(s) from the Federal Trade Commission.  He indicated we had won a prize through the Las Vegas Dream Foundation and that if we were interested we should call him back at 202-470-1395.....Ha Ha Ha.....also - reported this via the donotcall website (www.donotcall.gov)....

Beware----if it sounds too good to be true -  it is....

That I have won 350k from Las Vegas Dreams Foundation.
Sounds very sincere his name was Richard Owen. Said the money was insured through LLoyds of London NY office gave me numbers to call to verify. I think it is all a scam trying to get money from me. If anyone knows of this
please let me know if it is true. Would be wonderful if it is as I am a senior citizen wirh a disabled hubby to take care of and do not have any extra money to throw away.
