I got a call from that girl ( 220) 666 8801 telling me that I have a governement grant that I don't have to pay back and it's worth at $8,400 but then I should call a # 4 confirmation and he will help me out. I called the 202 470 1406 and his name was Brad Johnson! infact that is what he told me his nam was. and he told me to go to an western union and send him $ 240 and I will be reciving my money in about 45 min after I send the money. I fell for it ,so do my mum and sister! I wanted to risk and get the opportunity to earn that money. But then thinking twice, I decided to verify the # on internet B4. and I see all those stuff I jst get convinced that it is a fraud. Unfortunately, I give them my account #? I am in trouble?? can they tak all my money?? hummm.. please B awar of all those things.. and also that woman that is always seek and want to give you all her inheretance and has a pastor as a testimony, don't fall for all those things!

I received a call saying I was to receive 8400 within 45 mins scam 4 sure the #s are 202-470-1406 and 202-666-8801.BEWARE PEOPLE

This number has been calling me all week I should have known this was a scam The last time someone called me from overseas it was a man can't hardly speak English broken up that's for sure this guy sent me a check for $4700 I google that information want to check to be sure it was real the check was the focus what I have found was this check was bogus people was trying to cash their checks not knowing the police was right outside waiting for them and now I get a call for me people calling from Washington DC I had made a mistake and click my friend in the phone in her answer machine picked up the lady got frantic she said what are you doing what is that why are you recording I said I made a mistake clicking my friend answer machine on she said stop doing this from right there I knew she was a fake the fbi should bring these people people in or should have been brought these people to jail the next time people call I'm going to say you're being recorded record it on a scam proof for safety reasons line maybe they can detect from hearing their voice who these people are?

I almost got scammed the man I talk to called from  2026663552 said that I was chosen for a government grant for 8400 and that the only way I could get the money was to call 2024701406 and that guy name was Brad Johnson he wanted me to wire him $211 through Western Union I told him ok. Then I called the dpt. Of treasury they told me it was a scam I called the man back that I was talking to that it was a scam and he said no it was not and hung up on me

I received a called from Taylor (202) 666-3431and she said that I was approved for a government grant for $8400. I had to call her supervisor Brad Johnson (202) 470-1406 to confirm my interest and to have the money deposited in my account. Where he informs me that I had to donate $215.00 to either the American Red Cross or a Cancer Treatment Center before I get the money deposit to my account.

Received a call from someone claiming to be with the Dept. of Treasury and was told that I was awarded a Pell Grant for $8400. The caller was named "Alex Cooper" but his accent was of Indian or Middle Eastern decent, and to top it off I had to PAY $210 to receive this grant! This is obviously a scam.

Called me and said they were from the government and I was approved for a $8400 grant because I hadn't have a criminal record for the past 12 months. Also said I had to pay $235 because I didn't apply for the grant and was randomly picked. That the funds to be wired thew money gram to some place in Washington DC. I did not send any thing, it did not sound right.

They called my wife's phone with the 8400.00 grant line and we jumped through the hoops until the "processing fee" of 250.00 was mention. She argued that it's our money why need we pay to get it and she hung up. Just for FYI he claimed his name was Alex Cooper. HE CALLED BACK! I answered the phone and proclaimed we would not be had by his scam. He told me that my wife must be white and uneducated and i went the F off! Never have I been so angry at another human being and never have i heard another man just straight disrespect someones wife TO THE PERSON! I was floored.

02/19/2013 recieved call from a allex cooper has a hindu accent wanted 210.00 and i would receive free grant of 8400.00.

I received a call from this number.  They had all of my information already and said i was to receive a grant.  Scam for sure. I am worried that they already had all of my personal information and what they will do with it.

My friend got a message from this number also.  He called me and asked if I thought it was legit.  He is really down on his luck and so wanted to beleive this.  I called the number and began asking questions.  I mentioned The Better Business Bureau and the person who answered the phone immediately got flustered.  All I could figure was SCAMMM!!!  Advised my friend to forget it.  All I can say is to these people who are trying to scam others  God's gonna get ya for that, God's gonna get cha for that.  Ain't no place to run and hide for He knows where you're at."   Be safe , Merry Christmas!!!

I had a man tell me his name was Edwin Austin,and that I was randomely picked for a government grant of $4500.00.He said I needed to go to western union and send $250.00 to receive my grant. When I told him I had looked this number up and was looking at the scam messages on line he wanted to end the conversation.So please do not listen to this crap,because if it was a real government grant the government would not charge you a dime for sending the grant.These people need to be locked away and throw away the key.

I left a voice mail tellin "edwin austin" to call me back. i cant believe this. i really needed dat money to pay for college. i pray to GOD dis man gets his &&da woman who called me ta start it off

I fell for the $235 part lol smh...... Then someone else called saying I need to send $499 through Western Union and the money will be wired to my account,,, I started thinking then.. Why wouldn't I deposit the $499 in my account and you see the money to confirm that it's my account.... He stuttered and told me to call 202-470-1406 back... I called ''Edwin Austin" back and told him about this comment section. He said it wasn't fake and he told me the charity name is "US Indo Charity Foundation".. Which I then looked up, while on the phone, and saw "scambook" numerous times! I cursed him out and told him to have a nice day! Oh well... God's got me! =)

This is a Scam the man has a partner or is chosing to phone numbers he almost had me for a grant of $ 8,400 If I send him $150 now it is ashame that this man would pray on people that don't have any thing I'm unemployed, trying to go back to school after 30yrs. and I'm a grandmother of 3 what made this man think if I had to pennies to rub together that I was going to give it to him.  when I asked him why they didn't just take it out the grant money he just got quiet then I said well send me the money and I'll send you back the $150.  They are really getting desperate out there! Good thing I needed what I have more than what I thought I was going to get.
