Got the same call but they did not ask for any money.....if I find that money in my account I will faint.I did not give them any information except for an atm.card.They can't do anything with this,not even deposit I think.Will continue checking this out.The man's name wasn't Eric Green,but Harry Robinson,gave me a confirmation number,another phone number, 202-470-3941 with account managers name of Angela Jones.......

Is 2024703941 called and said I could get a grat.  Thank god I didn't give them my card number. It's a scram. I hope the fbi gets a hold of them and put them in prison. I read that some lady gave her card number to them and they took all the money out of her bank account. I asked for them to repeat the company name and he said it fast and I said can you say that again and he never did.

They use another also its from 202 666 5005 they said if I gave them 240 they would deposit 8400 on to my card so I gave them a card that I don't use I didn't get a  Eric green I got some lady her name was Angela Jones  what a scam don't give them nothing if the government was going to give you a grant they  wouldn't be asking you to pay them money to get the grant

i got a call saying i was awarded 8,400 dollars and i almost lost my mind i know its not a lot of money but it would have helped me a lot. But i thought it sounded funny so i googled the number and the 1st thing that came up was this site...so now i know its a scam these people are horrible and i hope they are caught. its people out here that actually need money and they are scamming they and taking away their hard earned money...please do not fall for it because i almost did.

I just recieved a call just like the one's I'm reading about here. The number is 202 666 5001   He told me I have $8,400 owed to me from the goverment. Eric Green is his name. after getting this call I looked up the number an I see all these reports about the same scam. Please dont fall for this. If the goverment owes you money you do not pay a processing fee of $200-400 dollars. Its the same to people, the lady, then Eric Green.

I received a call from 202 666-5870 telling me exactly what everyone above me stated. I was selected to receive $8,400.00  because I pay taxes and have not filed for bankruptcy. It is a once in a life time payment and it should not be used for drugs or alcohol. I had to give them a credit card, gift card debit even if it had zero balance or if it is over draft. Then I was given a conformation number and I should call 202 470-3941 and ask for Eric Green and I should have the money in 40 to 45 minutes. Then I called Mr Green, boy he had a attitude on him. The first guy was so polite and professional. I asked him what is this really about? He said I should call back when I know what it's all about, because I think he was playing games. I said thank you for letting me know who you are.....then he hung up on me!!!! Lol......There is a special place in hell for these people.

I received a call from this number 202-666-5870 claiming that there from the US Government Grant and Treasury Department and that I won $8,400 in federal grant money from the US Government education fund and dont have to pay it back. The speaker was a female, then she said I won the money because I paid my taxes on time, etc. She gave me another number 202-470-3941 and to speak to Eric Green to have the funds released to my bank account but I have to pay a wire transfer fee by purchasing a greendot money pak. This is a scam, I reported this to the FBI.gov crime tip section, please report this to the FBI.gov and Secret Service. I hope they catch these criminals and bring them to justice. They seem to be calling a lot of people. God damn b*****ds, I hope they get punished.

I received a call about a government grant also, got the run-around and then was told there was a processing fee?....Has anyone found out if this is legit?? It was Eric Green that called me first. This number just called stating the same thing! After we informed Mr. Eric Green, he went crazy. Be careful!

Hello my name is Darlene Marshall ,  I have received a call from eric green and this guy sounded like some Chinese yoyo who doesn't even work for the government -  tried to offer me a grant of 8,000 dollars and and then gave me a confirmation pin -  so I gave the confirmation pin to him and then he tried to scam me 300, dollars just to put 8,000 into my account  -  so when he told me I had to pay an activation fee I told him to cancel this file and do not call me again.

I just recieved this call today and was extremely exceited so I hurried and call this "Eric Green" He sounded like he knew his stuff, he then told me I would have to wire him a $250 fee for the money to be wired. I was about to send it then thought to look it up cause it almost sounded toooo easy. Thank God i did before giving my hard earned cash. Im currenty pissed i ot so excited and believed i would get that money and feel stupid as hell for almost falling for it but they are scam artist and thats what they do. DO NOT BY ANY MEANS TRUST IT.

Yes eric grene just had someone call me and tell me i was pick out of 15 people that the US TREASURY and federal. department is gaving me 8,400dollars i taught i was the luckest person in the world but anyway  this person is gaving me some money she know were i stay my apartment number and made it sound so real  so she was so good at what she do she got my visa card number she rush off to this eric greene person. Who claim he from the grant department he sound it so real and about this grant money i was subpost to ge in 45min than he hit me with saying i need to send him 250dollar west in union than after that i can get my money i told him i aint got no money like that i taught u was subpost to gave me money he said  that only way u can get it he talking about he will wait on me. so if i would of send him my money i would have been broken hearted because i have. bills and to loseing something u dont really have god going to get them

Received same call as the rest. Hard to understand. Eric Green was contact name to receive 8000.00 dollars in grant money. No payback. Sounds like a scam to me! If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

This number called me saying I was eligible for a grant of $8400 from the government. Then he wanted me to pay $250 in order to receive the grant in 15 minutes. I told him I do not have $250 and he says he will hold my confirmation number for 1 month to give me time to get it. His name is Eric Green. I need info on this guy. Is this real or a scam?
