Got a to good to be true call and I told both people I spoke to I felt it was a scam and I'm a sucker I gave them my prepaid card number and after that is when she said I needed to go to speedway and get a green dot money pack reloadable card and I needed to put 215.00 on it for the fees I even told them I was googling her and him the phone numbers and she said GOOD that way you know its not a scam. Spend today and tomorrow checking them out and we would talk again on Monday and she was almost convening glad to have Google well have to cancele my card and hope they didn't steel my info cause there isn't nothing on that card

I guess after y'all posted this, they switched to a different person for this number. I got scammed today from a woman named Monica Lourie. She and her "partner" said that I won the grant because I paid my taxes on time. They mentioned they worked for the US Dept of the Treasury.

This caller said that they were with the United States Grant Treasury Department and that a one time grant in the amount of $8,400.00 would be either deposited into a checking or savings account or any of debit card or credit card.  The lady said her name was Monica Louri (Lauri).  In return for this grant to be released to me they wanted a two payments of $215.00 to cover taxes and processing fees.  That is a total of $430.00 they told me if I did not have it if I could borrow it from family or friends to cover this amount and that she would stay on the line until I received the money to pay to cover the taxes and processing fees and then she would also stay on the line for the 45 minutes that it would take for the money to appear on my card or in my account to be used as I wanted starting today.  I told her that if they were asking for money that this is a scam and I would not make no payments of any type to receive free grant money.  I told her I would be reporting her to scam alerts and she hung up on me.  The other number she also used to call from was (202) 666-8460.  Please be aware of these people and do not get scammed.  I was smart enough to know better than to give anyone any money for more money for free that is what we here in America call a SCAM!

Yes I just got this too they were asking for credit card info and bank number I asked for a call back number and they said I can call back and when I did it was a regular answering machine no business SCAM

I asked for verification and was given the name of Gary Taylor @ 202-470-3953.  After reading this post, I have already confirmed in my mind that this is definately a scam and didn't fall for it.  They tell you that there is three options to receive the money, either direct deposit into your account, on a prepaid card or a debit card.  NEVER EVER give your account numbers to anyone without verification and the goverment would never ask you to send them money to receive a Grant.  Especially not to send it to someone in another country.  I could have really used the money, but I'm grateful that I didn't lose any money that I really don't have.

Got a call and told them to prove they were real and they couldn't! Wanted all sorts of info, but no help.

They asked for all kinds info already knowing almost like confirmation don't do it it's a SCAM!

My son was contacted by this group offering him an $8400 grant to use for anything. they asked for my credit card # and said it wouldn't cost anything and once they got my number then they asked for $214 for the transfer

they just ask for 214.00 and they would give me a grant of 8400.00  suond like a scam

Don't talk to anyone from this number!  They are scammers who will try to swindle you out of money!!!
