I also pressed 1 and have several times. Every time, they say it could take up to 72 hours to be placed on the do not call list. Well, it has been more than two weeks and I'm still getting calls from this number and similar ones.
Anyone out there have any idea what company this is and how they can be reached?

Automated "stay on the line to talk live with Congressman Peter Roskam" call - usually these show up as from unknown/private but this one showed an actual Washington DC phone number.

My caller ID displayed "Health Care" with the D.C. phone number below it. Figuring it was a "robo" caller, I answered but didn't say anything. I heard only dead air, so I hung up.

called the number back and it answered by saying "thank you for calling back.  if you are not interested in receiving future calls about our special promotions and would like to be placed on our do not call list, please press 1"   --  so i did.

I've gotten 4 calls from this number in the last week alone.  Always either dead air or an automated message about God knows what.

Since it rarely does any good to ask to get on their do not call list, I decided to just program the number into my phone as "Telemarketer" and set their individual ring tone to silent.  I rather they stopped calling, but at least now it won't interrupt me when they do!

I GET CONTINOUS CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER THE  NO ONE SPEAKS, I CALLED BACK AND PRESSED 1 NOT TO RECEIVE FUTURE CALLS FROM THEM. BUT I CONTUNE TO GET THEM.

I never picked up, and there was no message. I only got called once, but I read all these posts. Whatever the fcks goin on, it's random and there's a different story for everyone. Some people get a political call, others get harrasing prank calls. I suggest we block the number, and make sure you warn your friends before they get called. It's obviously pissing people off.

You must be very careful about revealing facts on this website. We must maintain our secrecy. You could get courtmarshalled for this.

These people call me every single day at least twice! WTF! I'm beyond pissed!

Curiosity got the best of me on the third call.  A recorded voice said something like, "The new health care legislation allows us to offer you . . . " at which point I did hang up.  Now I'm getting calls from an 864 number around the same time of day.

just had 6 more calls from these clowns, an ive made a complaint to the TO THE AG, OF THE DISTRICK OF COLUMBIA,  an to the fraud squad, as i belive that there scam calls,...

Just got a call from this number. No message, of course. I called back, the recording states, " If you are not interested in receiving future calls regarding our special promotions and would like to be placed on our do not call list please press 1. Please allow 72 hours to have your number removed from our preferred marketing list" Blah Blah Blah. It's a bloody marketing company. Hopefully they stop calling but...I doubt it.
