i missed a call from this number cause my phone was on silent, seeing all your comments makes me wonder.

I got a call from the 202 number earlier today and then got another creepy voice calling from 402.982.0819 at 8:02 this evening. I have a Verizon cell phone. My wife and son also have Verizon cell phones and got the same weird calls from both of these numbers. Again we live in SE Mass. Other friends in town have been getting the same calls on their cell phones.

I live in Seattle, and have a Verizon Blackberry.  Received a call from 202.495.7164 at 12:47pm and then a call from 402.982.0819 at 5:22.  Didn't answer either call and neither left a message.  Very weird that several people have received calls today from those same two numbers...

Second call callerid showed 402-982-0819 Private office

I had the same thing today, from both of those numbers.  I live in Wisconsin.

8/6/9 20:05 East coast time, answered and mechanical voice said "sorry, i seem to have dialed the wrong number".
This was the second one today ; same voice and message.  The other was from 402-982-0819

Received this call on my home phone at2:32 PM no message

Got electronic sounding voice today, said sorry I got the wrong numbe

just got a call on my cell phone from 202-495-7164--looked up reverse phone number on white pages... and no info available.... and I live in WV... just says DC...odd!!

I live in Ohio and just had someone call me from this number.  I didnt answer.  It came across my line as a DC call.  WEIRD

I just received a call from 202-495-7164, got the same " Sorry, I have the wrong number" the voice was digitally changed.

I live in SE Mass. I think what is going on is that these are political crank calls into Democratic Congressional House districts that are deeply opposed to conservative Republicans like Saxby Chambliss, their political operatives and their agenda. I would be curious to know what other parts of the country these calls are being placed to.

sound like he was changing his voice and said sorry he must of got the wrong number.

Just called and wouldn't answer.

They called me but I didn't pick up. They didn't leave a voicemail either. I live in PA, I doubt there is a connection between us all. Someone calling random numbers and saying they got the wrong number.

The same thing just happened to me... I am creeped out... is there any connection between all of us?  Employment perhaps?

I answered the call; the voice which sounded like a male voice or someone using a disguise to hide their real voice, said  he was sorry ...must have the wrong number.

Male 20's - 30's "Sorry I must have called the wrong number..sorry.."

I didn't answer when I got a call from this number because I was talking on the phone.  I looked up area code and tried reverse phone directory.  I see from looking at this website now that there is something fishy going on.  Hmmmm..... <)))<
