A man with a heavy accent called from this number claiming to be from the US government and stated my name had been selected from a lottery to recieve a $7,000 grant. I told him I had already heard about this scam and asked he not call me any more.

It seems our NSA should be able to put a stop to these people! They monitor our calls so get on it NSA!  Tired of this s***!  Scammers!!!

This number called me on April 29. A gentleman with a foreign accent left a message saying my first and last name at least 6 times continually then he appeared to have ended the call, I then hear him say "F*** you, I can't believe this p**sy won't answer." I am extremely creeped out and angered by this harassment and I would like to know what I can do about this matter?

I got a call from this this Exact number a few days ago. It was a foreign guy and he said my first and last name repeatedly over and over then he appeared to have hung up and thought the message was no longer recording when he said " F### You, This F####ing P###Y Won't answer, I can't believe her!" I am really creeped out and want to find this guy! What can I do??

I just got the same call and they keep calling over and over! They say they are from the governmnt and apperantly i gor a grant. . Its hard to believe has to be a Scam!

Got the call today from D.C. I said I didn't want the $9000. And they hung up. Could hardly understand his broken English. Sounded Iranian or somewhere in the middle east

After asking to be removed from call list the guy asked If I wanted to f**K with him. Then he went into a tirade of I will f**k you. Geez what a jerk!

The number 202-506-1967 call every morning around Noon time then hangs up and call back again in the afternoon.
If there is any way to block this call I will greatly appreciate. Thanks.

Just a warning to you scamming punks! Hate to tell you, but you called the wrong house today mister 202-506-1967. You see, my family is a major cyber and phone crime enforcement agency that is independent from the law which means we play by our own rules. We are coming to get you. You can hide, but for how long? My guess is that if you do not cease and desist your scam we will have you within the week, so please continue! Why would I get on here and warn you? Simple, I want you to sweat every minute looking over your shoulder, watching and waiting for when we will be there to put you in a pair of shiny bracelets. I know you read this page and that 2 of the posts recently were actually from you. There are several things we know but the one thing you should know and worry about is when I personally catch up to you myself! You think you can just disrespect and scam elderly women without punishment? I am going to personally put my size 13 so far up your a** that you will be tying my shoes through your mouth. Run little rabbit, while you have a chance cause when I am done there will be no light at the end of the tunnel for you, just a huge boyfriend named bubba that's gonna doll you up and parade you around the prison yard like the bi*** you are!

I got a call this morning from 202-506-1967, offering me a grant IF I would provide a Visa number and a Western Union front of $50 for the $10K I was going to get from Chase... Yeah, right, so the research comes up with this: Phone number: 202-506-1967 is located in Washington, District Of Columbia. Its exchange 506 is managed by SOUTHWESTERN BELL MOBILE SYSTEM. The number is currently on switch number BTVLMD18CM0.
Good luck, kids... this one is really phishing for gullible people....

nuisance calls to cell

I received a call from this number and i dont know anyone from this number

I received a call from 2 different numbers, saying sense I have never filed bankruptcy, my bills were paid and some crap about my taxes, that I was entitled to a 6000.00 government grant that never had to be paid back, they didn't ask for any personal information, said I needed a green dot card and they could put the money on that. and sense I didn't have a green dot card to call them back when I got one and sense it was going to be a new card that they could only put 500.00 on it. I never called back. they numbers I got the call from were 202-506-1967 & 202-559-7604.  

I also get this number with caller ID of Wash DC. On my cell no less. They switch back and forth between numbers, and never leave a message.

received death threat from this number..called me infidel and said they would kill my whole family for not giving them money!!

They called and I said no thank u and he said no F*** U. such an a***ole. Don't answer this number ever its a scam

I have been getting calls from this number for a few weeks. The caller says ive been selected to recieve a government grant ...its a different amount everytime. I hang up on her before she asks for my info.

Calls several times a week.  Caller ID shows "The Fiola Mare", which is a legit restaurant in DC.  I either don't answer or pick it up and hang up immediately.  If you don't answer, nobody comes on the line, which means it's an electronic call.  If you do answer, there's a slight delay and some person with a heavy accent starts some phony spiel.  I want to know how to report this type of caller.  There is another one we get all the time from a 443 area code.  I know it's best just not to answer, but it interrupts you and is therefore annoying.

hey, so did you ever have any issues with any fraudulent activity?? I gave my address as well.....I called this other line that they gave me...and the guy almost sounded the same...smh.. so he told me to hold on after asking for some confirmation number....after that...I hung up... but they told me an option was for cash......so, I said cash...bc I wasn't about to give out my info.......

I get several calls a day from this number as well. I'm trying to figure out how to block them at themoment. I'd LOVE to know what to do about this, I get all kinds of calls like this both on my cell and my landline,  at the very least it's annoying as heck!!
Some advice would be greatly appreciated :)

202 506 1967  calls me the house cell. i answer it hangs up never once has it been a person call back get a full voice mail could this be a tracing kinda thing?

i had the same guy calling me since last month and today he told me the same thing. My response to him was put the money into his mothers account, cause the way my bank account is setup I can't nor do I need anymore money... Now western union that

I too received a phone call from this number. I missed the call, but when I tried to call back they told me that the voicemail was full. My hopeful solution to the problem is to go to this site: https://www.donotcall.gov/ and register my cell phone number. It says that after 31 days no more telemarketers should be able to call my number. It also says that if one does you can report them.

I got a call from them. I answered the first time to see what it was and it was a female saying that "I was randomly selected by the government" and something else I couldn't understand. it sounded like she was someplace very windy. the only other word I could make out was "glenn"

I got this call today...I told them they had the wrong name & that my name wasn't Jennifer. Which it was. He told me that I AM Jennifer. I laughed & hung up. I called back & it went to a VM whose mailbox is full.
