I keep getting calls from 202-524-8834 & they don't leave any messages, then my son got one today on his phone threatening a warrant for his arrest if he didn't pay so much by 5:00 o;clock So one really needs to stop people like this. Same things as all the other complaints.

A man called and said he was Investigator Arthur King, looking for my sister-in-law and that if he did not hear back from her they would be issuing a warrant for her arrest.  Said that she had written a bad check and that is why they were looking for her. He knew her previous address and her new address to where she has recently moved, and even though she has never lived with me and has a different last name he somehow knew that we were related to some degree.  This is a very dangerous scam and needs to be stopped

The name Arthur King repeatedly shows up on 800notes  index page.  Just enter Arthur King.  He continually threatens arrest, and continually pretends to be either a county court employee or a member of law enforcement.  He's being doing this for years.  So far as I know, nobody has been able to find him or take him down.

Arthur King just left a message for a co-worker on my phone saying A) he was an "investigator" and B) that if she didn't call him by the end of the day he would swear out a warrant. I'm not going to bother to even tell her about it. People like this make their living scaring others into giving money that they either don't owe or quite frankly don't have. I'm not about to tell a 60 year old woman who may or may not owe payday loans that someone is threatening to arrest her. They can not arrest you for owing money, the most they can do is garnish your wages. And yes, if there is a warrant out, they don't warn you.

"Investigator" Arthur King called saying there was a warrant out for my arrest for fraud by deception.  He told me that I needed to turn myself in at the sheriff department. He called back about 10 minutes later asking when they could expect me to be there and when I told him I would not be going,  he said they would just come and get me.  He then called back 15 minutes after that and spoofed the caller id to make it appear as if the county clerk was calling. I was told that unless I could work something out with Mr. King,  the judge would be signing a warrant for my arrest. He then magically connected me to Investigator King. He is breaking so many laws and needs to be locked up. Don't fall for this scumbag's tricks.
