This lady, Julie Ellis, as it comes up on caller id (202.290.1340) just called my office about 10 minutes ago.  She called in and asked for my mother, who is the President of our company, I simply stated that she was unavailable at the moment and asked to take a message, Julie Ellis rudely hangs up.  I was very insulted by the why this woman had handled herself so I began by looking her up in our company database thinking maybe she was an unhappy customer?  I found nothing!  After googling her name and number, this is the thread I came across.  I'm glad I found this!!  I will definitely be on the lookout for the next call we receive from her.  Thanks for sharing!!

You know....I would REALLY like to know how she got my mothers name to begin with and the purpose of her call.  Next time she calls I will pretend to be who she's looking for.  I will post any new details.

This rude lasy just called me and asked for my boss, i said he was unavailable and she just rudely hung up..I called her number back and the first time it said her name was julie ellis..The second time i called she just picked up and hung up, the third time same thing just picked up and hung up..I am glad i found this site i will be harrassing her for a few days like she apparently likes to do to other people. Glad I googled here.  She also applied via craigslist to a sales position for my small small company...some one like this could give me very bad presence.

I just got scammed by them too!  I ordered a book/cd for 19.99, and later a charge appeared on my credit card for $350!!  I tried calling the number listed on my credit card but it's Saturday and a recording says the office is closed.  Just looked at the letter I received and it's signed by Julie Ellis.

Be careful, I ordered one packet from NAGC and a month later a $350 charge appeared on my credit card. Called NAGC and asked for Julie Ellis who supposedly signed me up for membership that I didn't even discuss or ask for.
Call NASC and ask for Julie Ellis or the lady who answers' boss and they just they aren't in.
This organization is a scam. Don't order anything from them. Just call their office at 202-465-3750 and you will see

This number called my office asking for my boss. I put her on hold and when i got back on to tell her my boss was busy she was referring to my boss by a completely different name. She identified herself as Julie Ellis from the National Association of Government Contractors in Washington, D.C. and that the credit card did not work when renewing our membership. We have no membership or affiliation with the NAGC. I believe it was a scam.

I am glad I came across this website.  I just received an email from her.  She is applying for a sales position I posted on Craigslist.  I don't hire people with that attitude.

Awesome.  I'm tired of this bi*** calling me. I want to reach into the phone and strangle her.

I ordered a book from the NAGC and apparently this makes you a member.  Two weeks after my order, she calls telling me to renew my membership. I told this was erroneous as I had just placed the order the week or so before.  Of course she hangs up on me.  

Two weeks later she calls back and I tell her again there is an error and please do not call back.  Hangs up.

Two more weeks go by and she leaves me a voicemail stating she tried to charge my credit card for renewal but it didn't go through.  

Julie Ellis is apparently the Membership Services Coordinator for the NAGC according to the packet they sent me.  The NAGC is now on my s*** list.

This woman is indeed rude!  Julie Ellis does in fact work for NAGC.  She does what others have mentioned, calls and if she cannot talk to Mr. or Mrs. X hangs up!  

I contacted the main location of NAGC (in Washington DC) and spoke with a polite representative.  She had me e-mail her my concerns and she is forwarding my concerns to Julie's superior. Julie is actually one of their sales reps. that works out of Florida.

I also called Julie back (got her voicemail) and let her know that she is not to EVER contact our office again, as she showed no respect for our staff answering the telephone.

I just received a third call from Julie Ellis.  Each time she ask's for my boss and each time I tell her he is not in or available she just hangs up.  I called the number from the caller ID and got a recording that states "Thank you for calling, you have reached our Capital Hill Branch in Washington, DC.  Please leave your name and number".  I don't even know what company she's claiming to be with, I just wish I could have given her a piece of my mind.  How did she know my employer's name and what is she planning on selling or pitching when she does reach him.  Several companies screen calls before the get to the main person.  
What a joke.  Next time I will try asking her to hold and then listen in on what she's saying.  Great idea!

I also got a call from her once Monday, 28 June and another yesterday on the 29th of June. I haven't got as far as her introducing herself. But yes, she is completely rude. Asked for my boss, he wasn't' here, so she rudely hung up. We are in San Diego by the way. Number she uses 202 525 1708.

This has to be one of the most entertaining telemarketing calls I have had in a long time.  The lady calling says her name is Julie Ellis.  The phone number is registered to her and comes back to an apartment complex in Washington DC.  Apparently, she also uses (or has used) phone # 212-706-9595.  I'm not sure if she actually works for the National Association of Government Contractors because we never get that far in our conversation before she just hangs up.  Do this next time she calls:  She will ask for Mr. X.  Ask her politely to hold and then just sit and listen instead of putting the call on hold.  She yells into the phone, whispers and makes all sorts of comments.  Pick the phone back up and say that Mr. X's line is busy.  She will probably hang up.  If she doesn't, repeat the process and enjoy.  It'll put a smile on your face.
