scam caller saying answer 10 questions get 2 free cruise tickets to Nassau

Got this call at 3:02PM EST.  Pre-recorded message offering free cruise tickets for filling out a 10-question survey.  Listened to the whole message but caller didn't identify themselves, their number nor did they offer any opt-out feature.  Only when I called the number back did I get the option to be put on a do-not-call list.  Reported them to the FCC.

Seems to be from DC area...but I don't know anyone (presently) from there. Probably a scam of some sort. Be alert folks!

Was forward to my cell without CID info and no msg (v-mail) left.

Am reporting it. Wish I could help more folks.

DON'T ANSWER IT...let your answering machine pick it up, because it's certainly NOT Publishers Clearing House or Mega Millions calling is it?
And it's probably NOT the White House either to offer my un-employed self a job.

I received my first call from this number.  I figured it was a scam and didn't answer.  I googled it instead and sure enough, it's a scam.

This number showed up on my caller ID a few days ago, they left no message. The caller ID says "FED DATA 3111". Reverse phone lookup failed to find that the phone number even existed. Pretty sure they used faked caller ID data.

Who is it calling?

They call me every single day to wake me up in the morning for the past week. You should call them back and just press "1" so they wont call you anymore.

I Receive a blank voicemail form this number 202-534-3111. I called the  number and it is associated with promotions. It did you the opt out. so I did.

Yes they have called me several times I finally answered from curiosity.  They "are" selling cruise tickets.

This number called my cell.  I did not pick because it usually is a scam.  According to everyone's posts it is the old Bahama Cruise line thing where the recording says, "Big Air Horn" "This is your Captain Speaking, you have won a all expense paid cruise to Nassau Bahamas."  Something like that.

One of these will usually call about once a month on average. I just don't remember giving my number a company/somebody I don't know.  I never give my number out.

So they keep calling about once a week. saying ive won two bording passes. WTF how do i get them to stop?

this is the second time i received a call from this number. This monday, 11/16, and the monday before. There is no one there...

I had been getting calls from this number for some time, until tonight. I decided to call the number back. I got a recording saying that if I wished to be taken off of the promotional call list to press 1 and that it could take up to 72 hours to take effect. We'll see if it works.

That number called me---i heard breathing---got a cheap thrill--he's my boyfriend now.

In NC got a call from 202-534-3111...called twice, left no message.

I just got this call in colorado and did not answer. I just did not recognize the number or the ID. they did not leave a message on the answering machine either. This is insane.

I'm in NC and got a call from this number.  Didn't answer as it is probably something shady.

This number constantly calls my office.  Never leaves a message, just a hang up.

I never answer any of the phones calls I don't recognize. Let it go to your answering service or voicemail and they will just hang up.

me and my friends, well mostly my friends, were callin some of their friends pretending to be FBI, callin some friends in kentuky, with that same 202 area code.(either kentuky or tennesee).  i dontk now wat it was, got it about 3 mins ago

I rec'd a call from this number also today, Monday, November 16, 2009.  The caller id says FED DATA 3111.  I was thinking prehaps someone called me regarding a job.  Scam mess, I find out.
