I have been receiving these annoying hang up calls for months almost every day.  I'm swamped with robo calls and scams so I don't answer anything that is apparent harassment, violates DNC or political.  I wish there was an effective way to be protected from this abuse but there is not.

Bothersome. Third or fourth time received a call from this number.

These idjits just called again. (They called on Feb 18th of this year). Caller ID: Voter Roll Call. I did NOT answer. What do they want? Obama won't be up for a 3rd term as president, so at least it's not about that. Oh, wait, was it about that Syria $*** and Obama? If I had answered the phone, would I have gotten a chance to vote ''yea'' or ''nay'' to Obama "pulling a Bush?'' Not-so-holy Chemical Crap, Obama-man!

I have received (2) calls and that is too many, I never answer it, let the machine take.....

Sounds like some Obama loving group calling to build up his crap reputation.

I got a call about North Carolina's new voting laws - it was a strongly democratic call with questions claiming that a bunch of people would be disenfranchised.  Twas advertised as a 2 minute call and a survey, but this was the most slanted political call I ever heard!

automated message that we had been scientifally selected I was so hoping for a live person. disappointment...garuntee they would recalibrate the scientific method to screen me out. lol.....said press 1 to start..wasnt gonna play push the button for 30 minutes. This is the down side to all the unlimited nationwide calling you cant run their bill up by leaving the line open.....and preventing other calls..that was always a fun game.

Yep, they called here as well.  From Caller ID (VOTER ROLL CALL) I decided not to answer it.  Looked like it might be some survey, well, no thanks, not interested.

called came in at 6:40pm did not answer and it did not leave a message...I will never answer

I've had two calls from this number -- no one answered either time when I said hello; there was just dead air.  The second call was just now (2/19/13, 3:45 pm), the first one was last week.

Called at 3:37 pm on 2/18/13.  Didn't answer, they got the machine.

Why call me?! I voted in the recent elections. I think the way I voted, etc., spoke volumes about what I had to say regarding the candidates, issues, and  election process. So, I don't want to chat about it now. Get over it, and go away!

Based on posts here, varying from a TV to political to hospital survey, it must be a scam.  Even it's a legit survey, no way of being sure when THEY are the ones calling YOU.  Recognized the area code as Wash D.C. area, so it's probably political---in some form or another.

I never answer calls from people I don't want to talk to.  There was no message, not even a recording.  Only got one call around 7pm Thursday.  Hopefully that will be the end.

Play this fax machine tone into the phone when you suspect a spam call and they will stop calling you.

it is a tv survey about a porn station or at least it was when i pick up thought it was some sort of sick joke. i just responded with i have children i only watch educational tv you wouldn't know about or care to because if you work for a company that does porno surveys your an uneducated low-life. that usually stops the calls it stop a few others too must be just one big scam/prank group.

I'm getting so many calls from this Area Code (202) that I've just blocked the Area Code - Bingo!

This number, and its variations, have been calling all week.  No message.  It's a DC area code.  Political?

This is phone spam.  My number is on the do not call list and they still called.

If that were the case they wouldn't be calling such a vast number of people over such an extended time period, now would they?  They called me, I blocked them with a handy call blocking device.  They never called back, or if they did I never heard it because the device simply did its job.  End of story.

Got this call a few minutes back.  Caller ID said "TV SURVEY".  I took the phone off the hook to stop the ring then hung up and used my handy-dandy device to block this call.  Now when the number calls back the device will do the hanging up for me and my phone won't even ring.  Sweet.    :-)

Don't know why people read all kinds of political crap into this.  Just get a good call blocking device and screen them out.  Saves a lot of annoyance and panty twisting.

Didn't know number, answered YES, and they hung up when I said hello.

Called 3 times today, no message on answering machine. I no longer answer my land line. May cancel it and just use cell.

Called Yesterday, 19 October at 5:19pm.  I didn't pick up, no message left, no caller ID. I am on the do not call list, but have received repeated calls from telemarketers in the past two months.

Its AICR Also uses landlines 202-461-3474, 202-540-5118, 202-643-1991, 202-870-5859 and a Cellphone from at 832 Yuma Street SE, Washington, DC 20032 3 bedroom 1 bath, William M?????? Negro age 40's & C?????? M?????? also known as Musad Jehaad and Jehaad Musab at Landline 202-561-3952. Appears to be using a whole bunch of cellphones obtained with stolen credit card info. Recently remodeled structure probably owned by an arab embassy & immune to US law

They have called 3 times today; I have not picked up.
