Lord, please help me.  I have received around 30 calls from this number.  I have asked them to remove our number, I have hung up, I have not answered, and I have called the number back.  I am at my wits end with this.  It is really harassment, and I have no way to stop it.  Any Ideas out there?  I am about ready to rip my phone out and rely on e-mails from everyone.

I get calls from this number and ACLJ ID every few days. Will not stop calling and blocking dosn't seem to help. They are an unwanted nusance!! Now when I see them on caller ID I just answer and cut off immediatly without a word.

I do not want these calls ... It is just a way to get money...the person wanted me to send out flyers to friends and family... I just had two recent deaths in my family , and have to much going on to support this odd organization, is this another tax exempt company, that does nothing, except make money for those who created it??

Just got a call from the ACLJ reminding me of my "pledge"I made in May.........I am so far removed from pledging ANYTHING to this group...Is this a new way of raising money?

The trouble is they call from multiple numbers; at least five different ones come up with ACLJ on the caller i.d.

This is the second part of the above message.  I don't doubt that the ACLJ has done some good, however, their way of going about getting donations is very disrespectful and I believe that the pushiness I have experienced with this ministry is very much driven by a spirit of control.

Note: We need to warn others about this ministry whenever we have the opportunity to do so.

I asked to be taken off of the mailing list because twice when I called in to sign a petition, I was asked 2 or 3 times if I wanted to make a donation (even though I specified once that I could'nt make a donation and the other time that I could only make a certain amount), the 2 men that handled my call were very pushy.  I called customer service and told them I wanted to be removed from their call and mailing list and I was told ot would be done.  The calls and mail stopped for about 2 months and suddenly within the last month mail began coming again.  I'm going to call the number for the talk show, I don't want the phone calls to start again too.

This telephone number is constantly calling our house especailly late at night.  This has been on going since the past month or two.  This needs to stop immediately.  What can we do in order for these people not to call us any more.

Caller named Brian Smith wanted me to send a check to cover the expenses incurred in my winning $450,000.00 as some sort of prize.  CON-MAN at work!

they call my number and leave one voicemail every day at 8AM wanting to speak to a "ms. jennifer buddha". my name is not jennifer, doesn't even start with a J, and my last name certainly isn't Buddha. this is annoying.

I have called the above aclj and Phoenix 602-388-8058, Just found out that the National Do Not Call List excempts NON PROFIT callers so unless we call these numbers back the calls will continue to come in since they are on automatic dial.  The best thing to do is call them back and listen to the automated message as it will tell you how to remove yourself from their lists.
They also say it may take two weeks or so to be removed.

They did say any thing and a couple seconds later just hung up.

This telephone number is repeatedly calling at my home two to three times a day.  No one answers at the other end when I answer it.  It is anuisance and should be made to stop these unnecessary and irritating telephone calls.  What can be done about these people.

We're getting the same calls. The ACLJ is an organization I once respected. I sent them a letter back in April (since they conveniently have no way to email them). The calls stopped for a while, but have since started up again.

I read on another site to call their legal help line - 757-226-2489 and then get transferred to customer service. They claim to remove your number immediately. I'm calling today and will see what happens.

I suggest contacting the radio stations that air "Jay Sekulow Live" (e.g. WAVA 105.1 in Washington, DC) and boycott the show. Sekulow is the founder and head of the ACLJ. I'm going to contact them and let them know what the ACLJ is doing to hopefully add some pressure to his organization.

Not a day goes by that I don't receive at least 2 calls from this number. There is never a reply when I answer and never a message. If they ever reply when I answer, they will get an earful -- three calls today in two-hour span!

I too have been getting these calls on my answering machine several times of the day and night for a couple weeks now.  I am on the do not call list. What a laugh that has turned out to be. It's annoying for sure but I don't answer unless I know who it is anyway.

Call came in from this number to my home about 7:30pm.

simply put: they call morning, noon and night - even weekends!  When I answer, they say nothing.  When I don't answer, they leave no voice mail.  This means that THEY WILL NEVER GET TO SPEAK TO ME.  I hate organizations like this.  IF they would leave me a voice mail, I just might call them back.

I see ACLJ is bothering other phones also. Well at least I found a good website.

They call constantly.
They call private numbers that they have no legal means of optaining.
They are most likely using auto dialers - ILLEGAL!
They ignore the do not call list - ILLEGAL
They call before 8:00am - ILLEGAL
If by some slim chance you finally get some one to speak to and ask them to remove your number, the calls will start back again in a month.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...I just completed your instructions on how to have my phone number removed from the ACLJ list.  Simple to do and I hope it works.  I have been receiving these annoying calls now for about 3 months and they are driving me crazy.

Thank you Fran, that's the best advice given here.  I just did as you said (dialed that number chose option 1,then option 3, entered my phone number and then push option 1 when it repeated back my correct phone number, and yes it did say the number would be removed within 30 days. THANK YOU FRAN!!

I see many others are getting these goofy calls.  I wonder what benifit it is to them.  I will check my phone bill to see if there are any ? calls.  Hope they are caught.
